Help! Is my USB eGo DOA??

I bought two manual USB Passthru eGo's and just got them in the mail today. The red one is a 650 mAh and the black is a 1000 mAh. The red one has a LED light at the bottom where the USB plugs in--it lit up fine and I could vape from it immediately. The black one isn't showing a light, and doesn't vape. I tried clicking the button 5 times, but it still isn't working. When clicking it five times, the button either flashes 2 times, and if I do 5 clicks again, it flashes 3 times.

Is there something I'm not doing right or is it just DOA? The vendor tried telling me it doesn't have a LED light on the bottom, but that's not what I've been reading.

Well, I got it to work. Not sure why it wouldn't work before...perhaps it needed to sit on the charger a bit? Did the 5 button push and the LED on the bottom DID light up and it now vapes. Whew!!!!

That's because of the 5 click shut off. The units are supplied in the off position.
