I used to purchase at green smoke but now I find them too high. I love the two piece so I don't want to switch to an ego or another 2 piece type of e cig. I'd rather stick with automatic than manual as well. I went to e-cigdotcom to cut out the middle man. After two purchases they seem to have disappeared. I was getting blank cartomizers at 4 bucks a pop as well as the e9 battery for around 14 bucks. I know they aren't out of business since it was the company that first started the e cigarette.

So I have been trying to find E9 batteries and blank cartomizers for a decent price. I've tried looking at various suppliers that carry e9 accessories and have come pretty close with no cigar. I'm looking for batteries and blank carts with choices of colors. Preferably colors such as black and white. Options for LED lights such as blue or green. I know I won't be able to get the exact price I used to get at e-cigdotcom but $20-$30 a battery doesn't seem so bad compared to GS's $50 batteries.
I'm tired of getting first mistaken as a smoker. I find having different type of colors of LED light other than orange helps me out tremendously.

Check leCig.com and see if they still sell D2 natteries (E9 is KR808D-2, as opposed to the more popular and incompatible KR808D-1)

And check the following rebranders who might also be ripoffs. E9 is the ripoff rebrander's fave 2-piece
Look where it says E9
A Brief Cartridge and Atomizer Compatiblity Guide | Real eCig E-Cigarette Reviews and Information

And black and white batteries are here cheap as well as parts
The Better Way To Smoke - Search Results

And they list these brands for E9 but they are incorrect about Bloog. Bloog's model used to be KR808D-2 and now their ecigs are KR808D-1

Smoke 51 Duo, Green Smoke, E9, Bloog, LeCig D2, Red Dragon, Vapure,

I just got done exploring this site out. Really fustrated and confused. Wondering if I should start another thread as well. I know d2 is compatable to e9. I am also completely frustrated with the e9. One being that its hard to find suppliers who carry it and two I'm finally hearing some honest reviews that the e9 is crap and three I'm tired of the cartomizers frequently getting a burnt taste after 10 puffs. Also coming to my senses in maybe finally investing in the 510. All I know is that I am not ready for the EGO. I find it too bulky. My objective is to save more money than when I was smoking.

If your greensmoke is 120mm long with a carto on then it is a 280mah battery, 510 is only 180mah unless you get the mega xl batteries which make it 128mm w/ a Boge carto, a bit more with atty+cart

I would actually recommend you you that you try KR808D-1 aka Vapor4Life w/ manual batteries and if you need to use D2 stuff there are adapter at leCig.

Whoa, slow down. I use a KR808d-2 faithfully and have been quite happy with it. I'm a former GS user - I luckily found the KR808d-2 from AZsmokefree before my one month with GS was up, so i was able to send it back and get my $140 back.

I have also used KR808d-1s and find them extremely similar. There's slight differences that were generated because GS wanted a proprietary design (to keep their GSers coming back for refills).

IF YOU USE GS CARTOS WITH THE D-2: You will have to screw them on a little loose to allow airflow. The GS d-2 draws the air in from the tip of the battery where the LED is. The d-2 you find everywhere else draws it in at the base of the battery (where you screw on the cartomizer). GS's cartos don't have vents to allow air into a regular d-2 - hence needing to leave it loose.

Nowadays I do all my buying from AZsmokefree. Mike is awesome, fast to respond with educated answers, and the prices are pretty unbeatable on his d-2 stuff (other than going to .........., which means paying for shipping from China and the long wait to get it). There aren't many accessories or options available for d-2s in general.

I only get a burnt taste when my cartomizer is running low on liquid. I refill it and am good to go. :) (and that's after WAY more than 10 draws).

Thanks dormouse your feedback. I think I will be switching to d-1. For emergencies if any I will get the adapter as well.

Apologize. But the weird thing is I get a burnt smell with a new cartomizer. I would but at least 15 - 20 drops in the cart and with in 5 minutes it produces a burnt taste. I have learned to be careful when using cartomizers as well. So Maybe e-cig has crappy cartomizers. I think I will look over azsmokefree before I invest in d1 because I would like more options.

He also sells the d-1s, and a converter for d-2 to d-1. And no need to apologize - I just didn't want you to think you had to trash everything you already own. lol I can say I've been happy with AZ's cartos. They're the only ones I've used other than GS, but I haven't had issues and therefore have stuck with AZ. I hear Vapor4Life's cartos are awesome! D-1s definitely have more options available. As I've been converting smokers, I've been sending them off to buy D-1s, just because of the availability. There's PLENTY MORE OPTIONS for the d-1 as far as accessories. :) It just sounded like you already had d-2 stuff.

I refill my cartos using the condom method. It's quite possible that I'm putting in a lot more liquid than you are. There's a drip tip available for the d-1. That might be your better option. (Prices are pretty much the same. The d-1s are about a dollar cheaper than d-2s at AZ).

blank cartos from AZsmokefree. He's out of the blank KR808d-2 ones right now, but I think he has a shipment coming next week. :) If you email him, he'll tell you when they're due in.

ETA: He goes through the blanks FAST, so stock up when you see them. I usually buy 5 packs at a time, or add 2 packs onto an order. That way I know I have them.

Forgot to mention: I have his blue, black and white batteries - I love having color options!

I don't know if LeCig D1's are real KR808D-1s. You can get real KR808D-1 manual kit or batteries at LiteCigUSA.net cheap, or in pretty colors at Vapor4Life.com

Or you could go with 510 (the short life standards or the mega xl). Nice PCC for the standards at NoSMokeVA.com

But re cartos - they need eliquid. if you keep a carto damp it can work decently for 4-7 days or more. If you don't keep them damp they can singe at any time. If you get a 510 you will see how bad atty+cart sucks compared to cartomizers. I think you will end up using cartomizers on a 510. The question is whether or not you have an interest in prefilled cartos because there are plenty for KR808D-1 and almost none for 510. And 510 has the wider selection of blank cartomizers.

Some more diffs -

KR808D-1 is the heat of hit you are used to with E9, maybe hotter with Vapor4Life cartos
510 is geenral a bit cooler so a bit less hit with the same juice vs KR808D-1

KR808D-1 manuals still have a hole in the threaded end but are much less prone to being damaged by juice leaks than autos

510 manuals are totally sealed metal on the threaded end so extremely safe against juice leaks from dripping on an atty or refilled cartos

dormouse - you unknowingly helped me! I'm going to be selling kits (placing my order this weekend) and am hemming and hawing between 510 and d-1. I didn't realize they run "cooler" than d-1s. But then there's the bonus of the closed end. Gawd, this is a tough decision. Then again, 510 is in stock in what I want, whereas the d-1s aren't. That's the main reason I'm leaning towards 510s. lol
