1 month ago I dropped tobacco and took up ecigs. I'm losing my mind. I'm almost constantly dizzy, my ears ring all the time. I get bouts of anxiety, paranoia and generally feel cranky and have no drive to do anything, like depression and unable to focus my mind properly.

I used to smoke pipe tobacco, a pouch a week. I started with 16mg juice and for 2 weeks I was fine. Then the dizziness started and everything else followed that. I cut my juice in half with VG to 8mg. No improvement. I made my own at 5mg and 0mg. Still the same. If I try to vape the 16mg, thinking I'm not getting enough, I get dizzier. I've tried tobacco a couple of times, it makes everything worse so I can't go back to that. My blood sugar is fine and I'm keeping hydrated. It sounds like all the symptoms of tobacco withdrawal but it seems no one else goes through this. Everywhere I read, everybody's happy with how easy the switch was. I'm losing my sanity.

I can't tell if it's too much or not enough because the symptoms are there whether I vape 16, 8, 5, 0... Hell, I pick up the 0mg and it just doesn't get better. And before you suggest it, my doctor will say, "drop the ecigs and have this Champix". Not going to happen.

Anybody else have these problems? Does it go away and when or will I continue to be like this for good?

Replies much appreciated, forgive me if I come off cranky. I'm cranky. :)
Thanks

This happened to me at about 2 months. I started cutting the nic down from 24mg to about 12mg. I also had to cut back on my coffee habit...went to 1/2 caffeine in the morning and decaf the rest of the day. All of the stimulants (sugar, caffeine, nicotine) seemed to have more effect. It also seemed to help to eat a little throughout the day, but more wholesome food.

My habits before I quit smoking included gallons of coffee during the day a very little food (except sweets) until dinner...not exactly a health nut, am I?

I can't vape anything with PG - not even in the flavorings. On top of horrible itching, I also had the same symptoms you are talking about. It didn't come on right away, but took a while. A couple months after I started vaping, these issues showed up. I would take one drag of the PG juice and feel like I was going to pass out. My head started spinning and my eyes got blurry. This was just with 6mg and I don't even vape 2ml a day. It was instant. The second I took the drag. Try a 100%vg juice and just see if there is any difference. I get mine from Velvet Cloud Vapor. Their Burley tobacco blends are good. I don't have any doctor proof that I have a PG allergy. All I can tell you is that the issues have completely disappeared since going to 100vg (no pg in the flavorings also). And I'm now vaping WAY more than I was before and really enjoying it.
