Help me find a liquid I'll like!

Hey everyone!

New the the forums but was refered by a member and have already learned quite a bit. Currently using an EGO-C Twist with a Kanger EVOD tank. Been jumping back and forth between the 2.2 and 2.5 ohm.

I've been vaping now for almost 2 years(and not smoking analog for just as long!), but unfortunately had to go through a revolver and V2 setup before I found something I really liked. Despite trying quite a few other brands and flavors of liquid, I always find my self coming back to the V2 Red liquid for some reason. It has some nice tobacco flavor with hints of chocolate, while still being relatively mild. I hate anything too sweet or fake flavor tasting. I'm starting to wonder if it is my best options because:
1. It's "assembled" in China
2. It is $30 for 50ML, which is a bit on the pricey side
3. I wish it had more flavor, but not taste like robust cigars.

Can anyone recommend me something comperable that may be similar and address some of my concerns? I know people are just going to say get a sampler pack, however I've been through a few now and not really found anything. Did a few of the Mt. Baker tobacco flavors and wasn't really impressed by any of them.

Welcome to the Forums! Also from CT here!

My suggestion would be make a trip to Branford and visit e-six vapors. You can sample about 30-40 liquids that they make in house right in the shop! It's totally worth the trip. They will also ship to you, so if you make a trip down once, and find a few that you like, you don't have to drive back there. The ability to sample that many flavors was an enormous help in finding flavors I liked.

Welcome, I'm new here myself, and trust me, we are on the same page when it comes to trying to find "that one liquid" that satisfies your cravings. Personally, I do not like fruit flavors or anything too sweet, no cigars. I just always wanted to find a good cigarette taste, so I'm going to list a few that I personally like, that you might find enjoyable.

1. Halo: Tribeca - so this is one of my favorites. It has a very unique flavor that people just seem to love. It's rich(not too rich), tobaccoey, and just has an amazing taste unlike any eliquid ive tried before.

2. Halo: Prime 15 - ok, so I love Halo, sue me This one has a really earthy, musky, tobacco quality about it. When people say earth and musk I tend to think of wet dirt haha but trust me, it is nothing like that. (BTW great to mix with Tribeca)

3. Volcano: Tobacco - this is a sweet one, but not a disgusting sweet. I actually really enjoy this one to balance out all my other eliquids. When I first tried it, I thought it tasted like the PEZ Candy (throwback , and I know that doesn't sound like something you want in a tobacco vape, but damn, it is really good. Volcano also has a Tobacco Pure, which is supposed to be a pure extracted tobacco but I have yet to try. (When it comes down to spending $15 on Tobacco or Tobacco Pure by Volcano, I haven't been able to pull the trigger on the other one because I just can't get over the regular one)

4. Green Smoke - Red Label : I know I know, they don't have eliquid , but as far as Marlboro Reds, I feel like out of everything I've ever tried, they come the closest. Quality is great, but they only have Cartridges, and you need an E9 battery for them to even fit. I had to throw it out there because I love them

5. Johnsons Creek - I haven't tried them, I just ordered a sample pack from them(I'll let you know how that goes), but they are a very respected company, and from reading the discriptions and reviews of the tobacco eliquids, they seem to come close to the real thing.

6. Vaporcig- Marlboro : this was one of the first eliquids I ordered. Um, really nothing to crazy here, just a basic Marlboroesque liquid. Not sweet, a little lacking in the flavor department, but very cheap, good vapor, good throat hit. It's decent. And shipping I believe is free (don't quote me on that




Unfortunately That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. I'm actually in class right now, but when I get home and dig around, I'll try to come up with some more. Also I have 6+ different types of tobacco flavored eliquids coming in the mail, so I'll definitely let you know how that goes.

And to everyone else: please feel free to write down some names if you know of any good tobacco's, I'm sure most of you know a helluva lot more than I do, and I'd love to hear your experiences with them. Thanks

I started with V2 red 0 nic (after I went through my first blu kit) and found that it's very sweet and not much like the reds I used to smoke years ago. I got my kit from Halo and really liked the Prime 15 mentioned above. What I have found that is my favorite right now is the free sample Halo tossed in of the Southern Classic. I didn't think I'd like it but it is awesome. If you get a chance to get a free sample of it, give it a shot. In my opinion it is better than any V2 flavors.

to Halofan2013: haha thats funny that you mentioned Southern Classic, because just yesterday I received a 30ml bottle of Tribeca I ordered from Halo, and I got a 10ml bottle of Southern Classic. I filled up a standard 510 carto just to give it a try and thought that it was a little overpowering but it had some qualities that I liked.

Most definitely going to let it steep for at least a few days, (Even Halo puts a card in with the order that tells you to let it steep), because I think I am going to like it. I haven't really tried anything from Halo that I haven't liked

As far as RY4, I haven't really got to try it. I ordered a bottle about a month back from vaporcig, and had a bit of a bad experience with it. It was extremely overpowering, I felt like I was injected with 100% caramel with a chemically undertone, which I really did not appreciate.

I did let it steep for a few weeks and it most definitely improved, but still not happy with it, so it just sits on my shelf along with other ejuices.

I know that people go crazy over RY4 and it is an extremely popular flavor. I just hope that my bad experience was isolated, and that not all of them taste like that. I always consider buying an RY4, but it always brings me back to my bad experience with it, which prevents me from pulling the trigger.

So if anybody could recommend an RY4, and share their experience with it, I would most certainly appreciate it.

you may also want to try some samples from heathersheavenlyvapes.com (samples only because you havent had her juice yet).

She has 2 variants of juice, normal 'artificial' flavorings that most vendors supply/mix with, and her purity line. The purity line is distinct as she uses actual extracted flavoring from the ingredients (eg real strawberries, to make strawberry flavor). She has a fairly large list of tobacco flavors, quite a few of which are extracts, and any purity flavor of hers I have had has been mindblowingly good.

It can be a little slow to get an order, but it is well worth the time. I started out only with the tobacco but over time went for more lemon/berry/cinnamon style flavors (just me) but found most distributors, tobacco or otherwise, flavorings over time felt perfume like to me. Heathers purity stuff broke that wide open for me and if I want a pure taste I go there.

Keep in mind that with a PV/ecig no tobacco will effect the same taste as an analog because we cannot burn a material and produce smoke, which changes the flavor profile of the ingredient, so any tobacco vape is going to be more pure and typically a bit sweeter than an analog as a result. That said you can find some pretty great tobaccos from her with varying light/dark tones and added flavors to round out to your taste.
