Mostly right outta the box - except I remove the silica wicks and either use cotton or bamboo. A couple of days back I did recoil 2 of them as they had busted. Was much more time consuming than recoiling a vivi or a CE4......but they work.....what mods do you do with me?

I don't Re-Wick. Guess I'm just too Lazy.

But what I do is the OPMPM (One Piece Mouth Piece mod). I posted a CAD DWG of it in this thread.

Nice - I hate putting that rubber stopper in - gotta line the v groves to make sure they sit over the wicks and then carefully push down...that is great - can you post a pic - I really am not good with diagrams - maybe a pic may help me.....thanks

Finding a Simpler way around that Silly Cup Seal was the genesis behind the OPMPM.

Without that seal, Filling is Dead Simple. Just put a Dropper Bottle tip or an Eye Dropper in the Gap between the Cup and the Inside of the Tube and Fill Slowly. No Syringe needed.

Here are some pictures. If you hit the Link on the Second one, you can Zoom In for more Detail.

Thanks - I think I get it now - after cutting the tube, you then are shaping out the inside of the cap so it forms that seal and no need for the rubber seal - am I finally getting it?

Bingo.... Kinda

The Mouth Piece becomes the Seal keeping the e-Liquid from Flooding the Wick. The "Cone" that is cut on the Inside of the Mouth Piece just to give Clearance for the Coil.

The Side of the Mouth Piece are what makes the Seal.

It takes a Little Practice to get the Tube the Right Length when you cut it. If the Tube is Too Long, the Mouth Piece Doesn't Seat fully on the Cup and it may Leak.

If you cut the Tube Too Short, then there is a Gap between the Mouth Pice and the Tube. A Cosmetic thing that doesn't effect the Hit, but doesn't look as Cool.

Great will have to try this. BTW - have also read that we can use 3 mil syringes as the tube - after a while I guess the tube leaks or gets discolored. Have you used the syringe for tubing?

Another vote for the Vision Mini Vivi Nova. Here is a picture of one my wife was vaping when I rescued it for a refill. No dry hits as long as it is not stored upright while vaping. We use 1.8 ohm heads on a standard eGo and 2.4 ohm heads on VV batteries.

MiT/RS came out with a "Frosty" tube for their CE2's about a year ago. Since then, I haven't seen any problems with Leaking, Cracking or the Plastic breaking down.

Beware of any "CE2" that has a Completely Clear Tube. They are Knock-Offs and are Nothing but Trouble.

WOW - so I have knockoffs - looks like. Got mine from aquavapor and from myfreedom smokes - both are clear tubes. Trouble as in leaking and coil breaking - or as in possible unsafe? Please tell me where you get yours from (btw I did also read that lead post - kinds scared the nico outta me till i read the later results)? Do you know if your tubes are poly - gosh not sure now - ploycarbonate is the one that is not as good as the other right? Please post the supplier names and I will get the real ones - dont know what MiT/RS means.....thanks.....

The company who Designed and Made the Original CE2 was Microcig (MiT). http://www.microcig.com/
They never sold them. They partnered with Royal Smokers (RS) who sold them to Retailers.

You either have some Old Revision CE2's or they are not made by MiT. Either way, the Clear Polycarbonate or Clear Acrylic Tube were/are nothing but Problems.

They have no 'Give" to them. So when they are pressed onto the Battery Connector, they Micro Fracture/Crack. That and the Plastic is Susceptible to Failure when in contact with e-Liquids.

Here is a Link to some CE2's which are made by MiT. Notice the "Frosty" Polypropylene tubes.

FLüXomizer™ 510 Clearomizer : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

BTW - Save All the Mouth Pieces that you have from your CE2's. The White Mouth Pieces are the Best to use.

I think the Lines have been Blurred between what is a Knock-Off and what is being Marketed as a CE3.

It used to be that a CE3 was the Model of a Cartomizer made by MiT. Now it is more a "Class" of Any Bottom Coil Style Cartomizer. Retailers want to call Everything that is has Bottom Coil (No Matter Who Makes It) a CE3 so that Google lists it in your search results for CE3.

Also, some "Knock-Offs" may be actually Better than the Originals. MiT was famous for coming up with Great Ideas. But also for not being able to make a Reliable Product without 5 or 6 Revisions. The CE2 was a Classic example of 2 Steps Forward and 1 Step back EVERYTIME MiT made an Improvement to the CE2 line.

I should give credit to both myfreedom and aquavapor - the ones I have from them have lasted a while - the ones from myfreedom had had less leaking issues even though I clean em out 2-3 days.....aqua ones seem to be more prone to leaking. Performance wise (well I guess I will have to get some "real" ones to compare) - no problems at all. The 3 or 4 that busted was my fault - dropped a couple attached to my VV and coils zapped and couple busted when I tried to remove the silica wicks.....

I haven't had a MiT made CE2 leak in over a Year. They just don't Leak.

And the Frosty Tubes don't Crack/Break if you drop them.
