Help me mod my Adamantium X please :)

Got my cheap junky adamantium x clone in the mail today 45 days after I ordered it.

At least the thing works, however one thing that I need to mod is the bottom adjustable screws that connect to the battery. They need a screwdriver to adjust and I'd like to come up with something that doesn't require a screwdriver.

This is my first mech mod and I want to be safe. I take the batteries out when I'm not using it and pulling in and out the batteries without first unscrewing them is eventually going to tear the protection off them.

Also I don't really like the idea of the batteries so solidly fixed in there if something were to go wrong. If the firing pin gets stuck down or something, I don't want to be scrambling for a screwdriver to take the batteries out.

Any ideas on what I can do?

Seems a little weird, would have thought a forum would be the best place to discuss experiences with retailers so members know who should be avoided and who're awesome etc.

Anyway, posted pics of the screw. But I don't really get the whole thread thing so I don't really know what to search for.

I am not familiar with that mod, but if you could post some inside pics of the battery compartment with and without a battery installed making sure to show the area where the screw goes against the battery I'll give it my best shot. I bet a keystone or similar battery contact could be modded into it.
