So, just to let you know how new I really am to this... I haven't even received my first e-cig. I'm waiting on a blu order to come in, but I'm thinking I'm going to cancel and order something else. I've been doing TONS of research since I ordered back in june, but can't find a comparable product that offers everything I'm looking for... and surely there must be one out there, right?
I'm looking for...
-one that I can get in a week or less.
-a super mini that really looks like a cig... no flat mouth carts, although I'm willing to do a stainless steel or black battery, simply because they're beautiful. I'd prefer one that's around 90mm, but at least under 100mm.
-a kit that comes with a pcc, or offers one.
-one that offers two batteries and two atomizers, or offers cheap replacement parts... My husband and I are planning on sharing a kit.
-easily refillable carts.
-a wall charger should come with the kit. (Don't know what the general opinion is, but I don't want to have to turn my computer on to charge my e cig everytime!)
-everything for under $100 (including plenty of carts!)

Kind of frustrated with some of the seller's websites... They don't always list all of the specs on their products, and its hard to tell size based off a photo with nothing to compare the e cig to. Some of the sites look so "geocities" (unprofessional) that I worry about purchasing from them. Really would like to find a reputable seller who uses paypal. Or, even better, a retailer in the kansas city area where I can look at the product and purchase in person, for a reasonable price.

Also, has anyone bought from these guys? ecigs4cheap.synthasite.com/e--juice.php
Apparently they sell the stuff to mix your own e-juice. Seems fairly reasonable and easy, but I'm worried because I can't find any reviews on them. Thoughts?

Super mini's do not have pcc's. If you are willing to go for something a little bigger the 510 has a pcc and kinda looks a like a cigarette, but it's bigger. It comes with 2 atomizers and 2 batteris as well, and usually a wall sharger, sometimes a usb. Vapor Station is where I got mine, they have white or black and you can get manual or automatic batteries 54.95, and I got it 3 days after ordering. TheSmokeSafe.com - The #1 Source For E-Cigs, Parts, Accessories and Supplies! has a stainless steal one for 54.95. If you're willing to go with black the best deal for you is probably going to be InnoVapor :: The Finest in Personal Vaporizers, they have many different options, but for 100 you get 2 e-ciggs, 2 extra attomizers and the pcc. AltSmoke | Electronic Cigarettes : The Yeti, JOYE510, DSE901 and More! is where I got my pcc 25.00 and had it 2 days later. Now that being said you more than likely will regret sharing one kit with your husband, I've heard many stories from people who've done that and are now fighting over the charged battery. Innovaper has deals on 2 kits, check them out. If you're not interested in the 510, sorry I rambled on, maybe someone will come on here with more advice for you.

Understand this rule of thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance!!

I agree with BStangl that the 510 would be a good choice and that sharing one kit with your husband will be a big mistake. And BTW, the Blu is one of the worst reveiwed PV's on the market.

I can only recommend manual switch PV's where you control how long you heat the atomzier. The auto switch PV's can't compare in performance or reliabilty. The Joye 510 is the only manual switch PV that looks similar to the real thing and it is well liked and reviewed. Many of us prefer the bigger battery manual PV's because you can get 7-8 hours on a battery charge and the batteries only cost $2 but most newbies have to buy a smaller one before they move up. Here are some suppliers that sell the 510 that are well supported on this forum:

e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's

or Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home

www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd

RUYAN Brown e-cigar with 25pc Cartridges - RUYAN e-cigar kit - Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop

Also, I strongly recommend you get liquid to fill your carts with. Most members do not like the taste of the prefilled carts and they are way more expensive.

Coming from someone who shared a kit with hubby for all of two days... get your own kit. We did get lots of exercise racing each other to the charged battery LOL. We have the 510's, he has the PCC, I have the USB pass thru. We have two extra batteries and 3 extra atomizers at this point. Thankfully we have not had any problems yet...

I don't think any that you get are going to be exactly like smoking analogs, but we are pleased with our 510's.

good luck...

First post- Hello to all!
I've been looking into the blu also. I've got an e health, just to try one out - but suprisingly it's worked perfect. I also have an njoy, I won't talk about it. I finally have one battery that works... My head is spinning at all of the different types and brands and am also wondering what would be a good mid priced starter. It seems like the more research I do, the more I find people arguing over what is good and what isn't. Hope someone can help me too!

If I would have bought a mini.........I would have never quit smoking. Sorry to agree with everyone else but the one's that looks like cigs should be toys. (they give vaping a bad first impression)

This is the only information that I used to make my decision 7 weeks ago and I have been thrilled with it since.

Most of the us suppliers ship very, very quickly

you will want 2 kits

good luck in your decision. I simply couldn't recommend anything less

You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the help! Must say that I LOVE this forum.

My husband is still pretty adamant about waiting for the blus... but I'm thinking I'll invest in a 510. It's quite a bit bigger then what I want, but I figure I'll have that one ASAP (because I'm super impatient), and then when we FINALLY get the blus they can be for when we're hitting the town, and my 510 can be for at home. At least, that's the idea.... Sounds like the more kits the merrier anyways. I'm pretty excited to get started on this, although I have a feeling I will be blowing far more money doing this then I ever did on analogs...

I'm currently shopping around for the best deal on a 510 starter kit. Super stoked!

Considering the Blu is one of the worst PV's made, you are obviously MUCH smarter than your husband!!

After about a week, he will be stealing your 510.:)

Heck, it won't even be a week. Let's see . . . she'll have her 510 next week, and hubby will get his blu next month (maybe). I'm guessing she's going to have to start hiding her 510 within a matter of days to keep it safe from hubby. :D

Seriously, you've picked a fine e-cig. The 510 was my first e-cig and the thing that got me to kick a 30 year 2+ pack a day habit.

lol @ giving him a straw. That's tempting. Although as soon as I gave him all of my reasons for going ahead and getting a 510 anyway, he jumped right on board and canceled his blus. Heard too many bad things about them anyway.

Ended up ordering the kit that includes three types of charger and a pcc from totally wicked.... I've got to stop checking the package tracking so often, its making me anxious. Until then I'll keep reading the forums... I can't wait til someone tells me to stop "smoking" and I can pretend to put it out on my hand. So far looks like spare batteries etc are fairly cheap on Widow.. Probably make my next purchase from her.

Anyone know where to get the "no vapor" e liquid from? I think that would be useful in combination with the no led batteries at work, or in a theatre...
