Help me, please help me with clearomizers / fluxomizers

I'm using an 808 with clearomizers and I think they're great. I tried 2.6-2.8 ohm and was getting a burnt taste, but that hasn't happened with the 2.8-3.0 ohm. The only real problems I've run into is the tube cracking, and like jj2 said, using a BD 3ml syringe as a replacement works really well, and the plastic refill tips are crap, so getting a metal tip would be a good idea. IMO they're way better than cartomizers.

MJB good tip on the Luer Lock bottles, I'll have to get one of those.

The way I fill them is with a 16 ga syringe, but unlike fantwriter, I take the plunger out of the syringe and squeeze juice into the syringe, then put the plunger back in and fill the carto.

I tried it that way. The first time, with a new syringe, it worked great. Unfortunately, the next time, when I pulled the plunger out of the tube, it was like a tiny explosion, splattering a mist of juice everywhere.

I suppose if someone is droit, they can do it your way neatly, but us clumsies sometimes have to work harder.

I'm still a little confused about which resistance I should choose. No one has ever said what the standard resistance is. Is the 2.4 ohm a low resistance? Which one os best? I am using an ego and an extended ego.

Also, most places are sold out of these. It's such a pain.

I never had an issue squeezing juice into the syringe with the plunger removed, I'm not sure why you had a problem, was their juice in your syringe the second time you pulled the plunger out?

I have also found the same thing with these. I am finding I enjoy a lr boge carto (around 2 ohms) the most. It has to be topped off, but the flavor is so much better than the clearomizers, and ce2's. This technology still needs some work.

I would like to know if the "Stanless Steel Fluxomizers" sold at Gotvapes.com, are the exact same thing as the "CE2 Stainless Steel Cartomizers Rev.4" sold at VaporJunction.com.

Good info here from everyone. I never thought about flipping the seal over like haft2doit described.

pixiedust...I also don't like the little rubber tips that come with the CE2s so I just use the plastic ones I got from Gotvapes. I've got a few of different colors so I can color code the cartos so I can tell them apart.

I just got some Luer Lock 15ml bottles from madvapes in the mail yesterday...this will make filling easier since it eliminates having to fill a syringe. Just screw the needle on the bottle cap. They also came with regular caps for when not in use. I was hoping that the Luer Lock caps would fit my juice bottles but they don't.

You can pry the transparent plastic seal off the clearomizer and by tilting it to the side, you can drip juice into it, it's somewhat easier than the whole syringe thing..and I really feel awkward taking a syringe with me when I go out to fill these things..I'm always afraid someone will see it and think I'm a junkie

Whats the difference between the V4 and V5 (or other versions)? I just picked up a set of XL 1.8ml V5's 2.8-3.0 ohm from nhaler and so far I like them.

I like things with cinnamon flavors so the plastic will probably crack soon, but I'll just change out the tube with a syringe tube, I have literally about 200-300 of them (medical stuff) so I can dink around as much as I want.

I wish there was a larger size though, 2.5 or 3 mls would be great.

As far as the company, RS/Microcig is concerned, there is no revision 5, they're all r4. Certain vendors are using the term r5, version 5.

Appreciate the info! I made a syringe tube today and it couldnt have been any easier, used a hacksaw blade and a razor (clean up the edges). Took about 3 mins here at the bench at work.

I made the mouthpiece a quarter inch longer away from the coil than the original as I'd been getting the occasional bit of juice in my mouth. So far its been working like a champ, any extra juice just runs back down into the atomizer cup.

I did find out that using a razor to cut it doesnt work all that well, those syringe tubes are tough and I didnt want to go round and round scoring it with the razor blade.

I'd like to try a lower resistance coil though, maybe next order.

What do you think of using marine 3M 5200 to glue the tube to the metal ring? The stuff isnt called the "black death" for nothing, it'll attach anything to anything with a ultra strong bond.
