Hello, fellow vapers.

I vaped for about 4 months beginning November 2009 and ending March 2010. In that time, I smoked maybe 5 cigarettes, with all of them being right after I started vaping. I kicked the habit for a solid 3 months until I found out I was starting a new job... one that told me I couldn't even bring an e-cig into the workplace (PRISON :)).

Anyway, fast-forward to about a month ago. Not only have I discovered the e-cigs are accepted... but many co-workers use them! They all seem to use SmokeTip, and almost all have completely stopped smoking! After seeing this, I decided to dust off my old Bartleby and try to kick the nic-stick habit again. I'm almost there... down to maybe one or two a day. Still kicking it with the Bartleby, now with IMR batts and LR cartos, but I have a Reo Grand, LR306 atties and 18650 IMR's on the way... so, my equipment is gonna be top-of-the-line, but I NEED juice... and I mean GOOD juice.

I'm a big fan of nHaler juice. It's really the only thing I've tried, besides old crappy Chinese stuff. nHaler juice helped me quit last time, but it's just not doing anything for me this time around. I think I need more nicotine and more TH... I just can't seem to put the e-cig down, and I never feel satisfied until I smoke a cigarette. :(

So, this is an open call to all you vaperheads out there. Recommend me an amazing juice that will help me kick this habit for good. I was about a 25 a day Marlboro Light smoker, but that doesn't really have any bearing on my juice choices. I've tried several menthol juices I enjoyed, as well as tobacco's, fruity, sweet... I like it all, really. I'm just too addicted to nic to be able to go straight to these low-nic nHaler juices, I suppose. I'm thinking I need at least 24mg, MAYBE even 36mg... I'd be willing to try it.

Any and all suggestions will be heard and GREATLY appreciated! :2cool:

My favorites, so far, are from Freedomsmoke USA. The Wyatt Earp (I haven't tried the menthol version, but they state they can mix it for you), the Hopscotch (don't go buying it all up, save me some), and the Candycane (tastes exactly like what it's described as).

The Wyatt was very strong even without extra flavoring, on a 510 ego.

The Hopscotch with extra extra flavoring, really only came to its fullest flavor on an 801 LR. It was subtle on a 510, and decent on a 306, but much better on an 801.

The Candycane is very strong with extra flavoring on all of the above atomizers, and is a surprisingly nice vape, in my opinion. It's smoother than the medicine taste that most pure menthol flavors have, and while it's extremely sweet (as its name would predict), it's not perfume tasting, like many sweet flavors.

Anyways, 801 is the way to go for flavor. Cisco LR version. But be forewarned, that it can be overly flavorful and very smooth on the throat, if that's not what you're looking for.

Hi Ned! I'm glad to read your REO Grand is on the way. With juice, TH and nic level is what will keep you off analogs. PG gives more TH than VG. Menthol gives more TH than other flavors. Also, upping the nic helps. One of the important milestones toward me staying off analogs was stepping up to 24mg PG menthol. Of course YMMV.

Finding the right juice can be like the ol' needle in a haystack. Whats great for one isn't good for another. The only way to really know is to go to the suppliers pages on the forum, or read the juice reviews to find vendors that seem promising, and see if they have sample packs. In my search I've only found one juice i like and one i love.

Which two are they? I'm still searching for more to try, and as I'm constantly converting people, the more I can get in my stash, the more likely I am to find one they'll try out and like!

Thank you for your suggestions. I've read many good things about FSUSA, and they are on my list of vendors to try. Wyatt Earp especially seems to be a well-liked one (not to mention one with an awesome name), so I will certainly be getting some of that one at some time.

Hopscotch... that HAS to be butterscotch, right? I'll save some for you. :p

Hm... candycane. I assume we're talking peppermint, eh? I'm not much of a fan... :(

Ah, 801 is "flavorful and smooth." I don't THINK that's what I'm looking for, but who knows? I purchased some Cisco LR306's to get the KAPOW factor... hopefully it's what I need to get me over the hump.

Whaddya know, it's my mentor, himself! Yes, I FINALLY have a Grand en route, thank goodness. I'm vaping my brains out on this Bartleby, LOL.

TH and nic is definitely what I need. But, wait a sec... PG gives more throat hit... but VG gives more vapor, right? Hm... that's confusing to me. I'd think more vapor = more TH, but I'm sure I'm wrong. :(

I smoked menthol cigarettes off and on for the 5+ years I smoked. Some I loved, some I hated. I did actually like the Nuport-flavored LR510 cartos I got from nHaler, but I could tell it was Dekang juice in them, or something like it. I'd rather have USA made... ya know... patriotic and whatnot. :p

May I ask some suggestions for menthol juices, Jedi Master? :)

Great for one, perhaps... great for many, more likely. I keep seeing the same names over and over, so there's gotta be something to them. FSUSA and Backwoods Brew seem to be two of the most popular brands. I also see a lot of people mentioning Tasty Vapor and Mrs. T's. nHaler was THE RAGE back in my first bout with vaping, but it seems to have been passed over for folks specializing in juice-making. I love Drew and everything he does, but those lower nic levels he makes his juice with is just making me crazy!

Now it's just cruel of you to tell me that you have one you like and one you love... and then not telling me what they are!

Drew has a 24 mg line, his Drewbacco 1 is golden. I buy both the HV(10 mg) and the regular (24 mg) bottles and mix them up. It's my go-to juice. I vape it straight up, and I mix it with other tobacco flavors. My favorite tobaccos, if that's what you're looking for, are from Vapor Station. Real, grown up tobbaco, nothing sweet and yucky. You can get a 10-bottle sample (you can order multiples of the same flavor if you can't find 10 flavors you're interested in) for $25. I like Tennesse, Tampa, Phoenix and Texas the best. Frisco is their version of 555, but it's more hazelnut than the Chinese peanut. Seattle is a strong menthol. Give it a try. Both Nhaler and Vapor Station carry small trial sizes. It's a lot fun and you can have a different "blend" every day.

Good luck.

Kapow factor is relative. I find flavor to be a Kapow factor. Wyatt will give you that, off of any atty, that's LR. 306 might just spit kapow right into your throat and knock you out, and you'll need a spittoon to get rid of the juice you get into the mouth :)

Some people prefer throat hit over flavor, or like to add throat hit. This can be done by having a higher VG bias (which also tends to produce more vapor), or by adding (as is often the case) grain alcohol (which doesn't add vapor, but does add throat hit). Very little, mind you. This isn't something you're going to get a BAL from. A few drops of grain is what is generally added to a mix if you ask for extra throat hit. You can do it yourself, but know it will thin the juice a little. Go very easy on the amount, or you'll end up ruining the juice.

I'd say, if you want a big old bash in the face, of manly flavor, juice up the wyatt earp, ask for a menthol version, get it with extra flavor, and spike it with a couple drops of pure grain alcohol. That's about as in your face of a kick in the .... as you can get. And by that, I mean it will be like smoking on a backwoods cigar, and putting the cigar down, instead of the ecig, as the cigar will be too weak.

I actually have some of the Drewbacco, both Nhale/Xhale and HV. I like the HV much better, for some reason... just tastes better. I might have to try mixing them up and see what happens. :)

I'm actually vaping his Octane Tobaccorillo at this very moment. It's a very nice liquid, a solid 4/5 for me, as are most of his juices. The ONLY juice I have ever given a 5/5 is HV Pralines & Cream... just because. I keep a spreadsheet of ratings so I can remember what I like and what I don't. Out of the 30 or so of Drew's juices I have tried, he probably has an overall rating near 4. The guy knows what he's doing, I just need more nic. :(

Cool, I will give Vapor Station a look. Thanks for the suggestion. ;)

LOL, your post made me giggle. Now, now, don't go insulting the 306 on me. I did order the "XL" drip tips hoping to stay away from that juice swallowing... I hope it works out. :)

Haha, manly Wyatt Earp... as it should be. I'm definitely gonna get some of that, especially since I've heard there's a 30% off coupon for FSUSA juices.

Not insulting the 306 at all.

It's great atty, and with the long tip it keeps the juice out of your mouth. It's a fantastic drip atty, and it really is highly recommended by me. It kicks like a mule, and it's a very pure tasting attomizer. You can switch flavors quickly, and it doesn't care. The cisco 306 is a fantastic version. My favorite.

You didn't go wrong at all by ordering it.

FSUSA always has a discount code. I should order some more if it's at 30% off now. It's usually a standard 10%, but they constantly offer deals (check their vendor page in this forum). If you don't see a sale price, the generic code is freedomsmokeusa. That gives an automatic 10% off.

The Wyatt is great. 5 stars all the way. The best tobacco blend I've had. It kicks your .... with flavor, but in a good way. Anyone that thinks your ecig is wimpy by looking at it? Give them a shot of Wyatt with a couple drops of grain. They'll walk away wondering if they can show their wimpy Pall Mall filterless in front of you again.

Ditto on the Cisco 306. I had some good advice leading me to that one. ;)

Cool, cool. I saved the post where I was informed of the 30% code in my "blog." You can find it there.

I'll definitely be ordering some Wyatt TONIGHT. No one insults my e-cig, though... the Bartleby with a drip tip on it looks like an illicit drug device/bomb detonator. LOL. These AW IMR's with some nHaler Octane put out the vapor, too... looks like I'm smoking a hookah! :D

AW makes a good battery. I'm using their 18650, and I'm not disappointed. I wish my damn cell phone held a charge as well.

I haven't tried the IMR's, but I haven't heard a single bad thing about them.

I'll give the nHaler Octane a try. I really like the cut of their jib.

The last order I placed through them, I ended up with a free soft felt pouch in the bag, without expecting it. It fits my Reo perfectly, and I've been using it ever since. A nice touch, for just making a small order, for sure.

The AW IMR 14500 absolutely blows me away with LR510 cartos. I can't wait until I get LR306 atties to see the damage it can do!

No kidding about the cell phone garbage. I think I charge my phone more than I charge a dang 14500... pathetic, really.

Drew is well-known for including little "extras" like that with his orders. I have a couple of little baggies I got from him during my first vaping experience... still use them for holding juice bottles. I need a tackle/tool box. :D

I don't doubt it. I have droid x, which is a pretty large phone, and yet the battery is tiny. I had an iphone for about 6 months, after coming from a blackberry bold. I had to sell the iphone because I couldn't even swap the battery out when it ran out of charge. The droid X is huge in comparison to both, and while the battery life is "decent", it's still garbage compared to the size of the thing.

I'm not in the cell phone business, so I don't know if it's marketing, or sales, but there's no reason a phone as big as the x couldn't have a battery that would last a week. Hell, it's bigger than most pocket cameras in lenght and width. Make it a bit thicker, and you'd have the competition beat by days, not hours, or battery power.

Then again, that's probably why I'm not in sales. I'd have to justify why it's 1/8" thicker than an iphone, even if it means you don't have to charge it 1/10th as often.

Unfortunately, it seems that style wins over practicality when it comes to mobiles devices...

Yep. Aint that a kick in the head.

I try to steer people away from the whole camera megapixel idea. I try to steer people away from TV, or stereo gimmicks, but you can only talk to so many rational people in person.

I love blu-ray. But I'll be ......ed if people out there still think 3d will be neato, when it sucked in the 60's, it sucked in the 70's, i saw jaws 3D in the 80's, and that needs no comment, and now they show that 3d tv's will cause headaches worse than pretending blue people living on some tree, and said blue people can shoot arrows into space ships and it not give you a headache (sorry, i wanted to throw my popcorn at avatar).

But I digress.

LOL, Avatar would've been much better without the annoying 3D. The place I watched it had really CRAPPY 3D glasses, so I took them off... and what do I see? A bunch of garbled crap. Couldn't watch it with the glasses OR without them!

Mostly what ...... me off about the glasses was... they were green! So... the blue people were GREEN people!

I am one of many here who recommends Backwoods Brew. In fact, I have not yet read even one negative review. Flavor is subjective, but I LOVE Espresso 24 MG. Buy some small bottles to try some flavors that sound good. Check them out.
