I decided to finally take the easy way out and just ask because my research on ecigs is running me in circles... I've been to tons of different websites; sales websites, reviews, youtube, etc and I'm still stuck. I DONT KNOW WHICH TO buy!!! So if you can please help me I will thankyou very very much. Ok... so anyway... here are things that might be able to help YOU help ME:
1. i don't want to spend a ton... less than a hundred
2. i don't want to buy something that is broken in a week or not have a part that it will need in the near future (liquid/battery/the deatomizer lol)
3. i live in the USA>> Ohio
4. I smoke about a pack of camel lights a day
5. I would really prefer one that looks and is comparable in size to a reg cig

so if u have any advice or think u know the one im looking for than please let me know of what and where to purchase. (as well as if I should order additional batteries/nicotine solutions)... all the info u can tell me would be great... i really have no idea about alot of aspects like even how long the nicotine solutions last... so thouroghness would be appreciated but thats up to you thankYOU!!

I would recommend you the M series:

M401, M402 and M403...any of them. Maybe the M402 will be better since the battery last the same as the M401, but it is shorter.

Also, you will need some spare attys; at least 2 of them, just in case. I will not recommend you to go for high nic liquids, maybe a 18mg will work for you.

You can buy all this from absolutelyecig.com directly from china.

If you scroll near the bottom of the forums you will find the supplier section. There are plenty of great suppliers there, each having its own personal forum with reviews, comments, and user experiences. If you are looking for something compact, i know that many people love the M401, the DSE 901, and the DuraC (Joy 510).

You could easily score a quality ecig with some backup gear and juice for 100. I would just take some time to look at the supplier's sites, and read some feedback posted on their subforums.

I have purchased gear and/or juice from midwestvapor, altsmoke, myvaporstore, liquidxpress, and vapor4life and i have had positive experiences with all of them.

Best of luck!

I was exactly like you....confused. Even posted with my "list" of what I would like and asking for help just like you did! And my "list" was pretty much the same as yours. I did get great feedback that helped me make my decision.

But, even with that, I still ended up spending hours doing research on this site and going to the different supplier sites until I found what I wanted. So plan to spend some time looking around, reading, and learning because nobody can really tell you what to buy. Only you know what appeals to you.

The other thing I would add to the advice you've already received is to do a search on this forum for the master discount code list. I would post a link to it but I can't yet. Maybe someone else will. Anyway, it's a list of suppliers and their discount codes so once you make a decision, you can see if they are offering any discounts and apply that to your order. I ended up saving 40% off my order by using that discount code list.

I ended up ordering the SS Elite (which is an M402) from Sharpsmoker. I haven't received it yet (got my tracking number so it's on its way! Yeah!), but it looks like a regular cigarette and some helpful members on this forum gave it good reviews. I ordered some extras with it and my total came to $68. Sharpsmoker was having a 40% off sale. Not sure if that's still going on or not. Then I ordered the refill juice sample pack from Johnson Creek for $35 so I stayed right around the $100 that I wanted to spend.

Good luck! :D

I know some have suggested the 501 but I've read that the atomizers overheat and the battery is really sensitive responding to noise and wind etc. IMO That would really annoy me.

I don't think you can go wrong with an 801 or 901 for your first e cig. (bigger cartridges, longer battery life)

Whatever you get, order an extra atomizer.

You can get a starter kit for under $50

You have to be careful with ordering the 901 as most of the 901 kits now come with batteries that have the microphone switch. I know that Dietsmokes sells a 901 that has the older pressure switch which I think is better. The 510 with a manual pushbutton switch will obviously not accidentally activate with anything but pressing the button so I would keep that as an option as well. The 510 does heat up but is a solid performer. The 901 is a good performer as well.

If you really want a good vape without managing batteries all day then you will need to abandon the requirement that they look kinda like a cigarette. The fact is that any super mini, mini or penstyle you buy with stock batteries are going to give you 120 to 180 mah versus a mod form factor (SD, Janty Stick, Prodigy, GG, 801/901/510 with passthrough and powerpack, etc..) which can get you double to ten times the MAH rating. MOD form factors allow better battery life and a more consistent delivery of voltage resulting in a better vape. If you are a pack a day smoker and are not willing to consider a MOD form-facor be prepaired to carry an excess of batteries with you and juggle charging times to ensure you always have something to vape.

I wanted one that looked like a real cigarette too.
I was out of cigarettes and drove to a Pilot truck stop and bought an NPRO. It works well and I haven't smoked analogs since I got it. 3 weeks today!
But, by about the 3rd day, I didn't want it to look at all like a cigarette. Less confusion when you use it in non-smoking areas.
So, I have ordered a black 401/402 with a blue LED.
There is a learning curve to whatever you get.
