OMG...I feel absolutely like a jack**s.

So, I have gotten into the habit of never turning this thing off.

I was using it when this happened, I'm positive I didn't quickly hit the button 3 times between vapes! And it just quit working!

Low and behold, I hit the button 3 times and it works now

Let the jokes commence!

Thanks guys!

No jokes from me, just good to hear that it's working.

Thank you.

I just ordered 2 of these and thought there is a bad batch.

I will do the same thing and hopefully remember this thread.

Even his was broken, it wouldn't mean a thing. The companies with the highest level of QA testing still put out a lemon every now and then.

And how would you even know what batch his was? His, or yours, could have been sitting on a shelf somewhere for months.

I know what you are saying, it was just knee jerk paranoia on my part. Human nature I think.

I do see a ton of good posts for these, that's why I bought them. I have a friend in Calif that got back into vaping last month with an iTaste VV and really likes it. I debated but decided that this will better suit me.

Yeah they are really great PV's and are more solidly constructed than the VV 3.0 (although that is still built very well). You really can't go wrong with an iTaste MVP 2.0. At this price point, you are getting far more than what you paid.

Normally, this would be where I insert a "facepalm" image from the interwebs but its good you got it figured out. It happens to the best of us with just about anything electronics related.

Now that I think about it, I'm doing it anyway.

Don't worry about it. I'm kinda in the IT world. I found it often saves a lot of time and headaches to ask the following two questions first, before anything else. "Is it turned on?" and "Is it plugged in?". It happens a lot, and it happens to people of all intelligence levels it seems.

I'm a software developer and I still don't know where that darn "any key" is...:)

As much as I would like to make fun of you OP I was sitting here reading your thread while trying to figure out why one of my mechanicals wouldn't fire. Well it finally occurred to me that there was an extra battery in the charger. Once I actually put the battery into the tube it fires just fine.

I once heard that the more tactful way that IT people handle that issue is to ask, "What happens when you turn it OFF?" ;)

Yeah, I do word it in more tactful ways, but it boils down to the same. Usually I say "Can you restart the computer for me?" If they say no power is running through me it won't restart or start I say "Maybe a cord knocked loose. Can you check all the connections for me?" Makes it sound like its not their fault if they DID forget to plug it in or something. An out. Yeah... A cord fell out the socket. That's it! I once had a sales person who worked from home call in complaining that she couldn't print out a map of her sales territory from the company site. It was actually a coworker of mine who picked up the call, but it was going on for so long and I was sort of the supervisor of the sales support department then, that I got off my phone and started to over see this call. She had her restart the computer, check all cords, etc etc... Once the sales person confirmed that all the cords were fine on her computer, she asked her to check to make sure there was paper in the printer. That started another whole 20 minute conversation on where the paper was supposed to go, and we finally figured out that she DIDN'T HAVE A PRINTER. She thought the laptop our company provided her somehow printed things out "....that slot on the side..." That slot wS the CD drive.
