lol. No but seriously it is. My thumbs are disfigured from trying to pry it apart. Any ideas?

maybe try holding the bottom part(brass part near the bottom of the atty with a pair of pliers( use a rag to protect the brass) and this should allow you to turn the top part.. Always put the base on first on the reo and then the top cap. doesnt need to be torked down

Sounds like a job for Vape Grips – Vapersphere

So maybe you have something like a vape grip in the house? A rubber thingamajig to open jars etc.

Side note: One early morning I was trying to pull apart a RM2 in order change wicks. I struggled and struggled and then I looked up and saw my ERA atty sitting in front of me. "Oh" I said to myself. The ERA pulls apart but the RM2 screws together. Immediately got coffee and then easily unscrewed the RM2.

Good luck! :)

By pry it apart you do mean unscrewing it, and not pulling it off like a typical RDA, right (I don't know all the Reonauts by name...yet)?

That being said try cleaning the outside to remove any ejuice residue and a couple of those rubber grippers for opening cans, or the non-slip stuff you put under mats or what ever, for grip and untwist it before you go after it with hand tools.

Mine is always and I mean always difficult to get off.

To remove my RM2 from my Reo, I will give it one more turn right and then if I apply downward pressure, I can unscrew the base without the top cap coming along with.

I then grab my needle nose pliers and hold around the brass part, then I can just twist off the top cap easily. Sometimes I will just screw it on to an atty stand too.

Sometimes I can't get the top cap to spin without loosening the base, so I hold the bottom of the base with my thumb and eventually, ill get that top cap to budge if no juice anywhere.

the bottom of most mouse pads will also work if you don't have one of those rubber lid opener deals. I have a mouse pad I cut in half and anytime two threaded metal pieces are stuck together I just grab those and with one in each hand I'm able to get them apart.

EDIT Like pennysmalls mentioned a few posts above.
