I've been vaping for about 10 months now and really have never found a setup I truly liked.

I've always used 510 stuff.

I've tried:
normal 510 attys with drip tips
ego mega cartomizers
normal ego cartomizers
tornado tank cart + atomizer (garbage)
CE2 normal and mega clear tank-omizers

The CE2 and tornado tank just flat out do not work for me. They taste like nothing, just steam, most of the time they taste foul and burned.

I make my own E juice, and have tried tons of combinations of pg/vg recipes from 100% vg to 100% pg to all mixes in between, no matter the ratio, they still don't work in those setups.

The ONLY thing that works for me are the Ego Mega cartomizers, but they use a LOT of juice, waste a lot, and often times die within 2-3 refills.

There has to be another way.

I will ABSOLUTELY not go back to dripping 1-4 drops at a time. I need some kind of cartomizer or tank setup. Where I can just fill up juice and not worry about it. I've heard of the carlos mod thing, but I heard hes really backed up, and I don't really want to pay the huge premium and it may not work, nor will it be backed up for any kind of replacement.

Please HELP!!!!

Yup. I went through the same thing with my eGo/Riva set-ups. It seemed that nothing really worked to my satisfaction and I tried a lot of stuff! I'm not much into modding, so I decided to buy one and I've been a happy vaper ever since. Which one should you buy? That's completely up to you.

The Mod Buyers Guide would be a good place to start. It'll give you a good idea of what will be the right fit for you!

I do believe there is a mod in your future.

I agree where are the Reo guys? They usually swarm on a post like this.

myc I think you're a good candidate for a wetbox of some type. The Reos are good. You can also look at the ali or phideas. Old goat makes the cheapest that I know about.

My birthday is coming up and I'm throwing huge hints for a Reo.

I only use manual batteries for less work and more control of my hit, as well as safer from damage by leaks
On 510 and Riva I use Boge cartomizers - the most popular cartomizers for 510, Ego, Riva etc. If used with thin light-colored juices (like 20% VG or less) I get excellent reuse out of Boge cartos. I alternate 2-3 cartos and I am actually in my 5th week on this one Boge I used only a thin clear juice in. I probably should have started a new one after 3 weeks - performance is degraded but still not too bad.

If you vape a LOT you could look at mods w/ built in juice bottle?

DIY I cannot help you with - I have not yet made a single juice myself and I really need to start. Are you sure your VG is all vegetable (not all USP Glycerin is)? Have you tried recipes from the EJuice Me Up calculator? Are you paying attention to what brand flavoring is being used in recipes (concentration varies greatly). Are you using the lists in the ECF DIY section and their guidelines for what percent each flavor needs? Do you make 1-3ml test amounts first w/ no-nic to get the flavor right?

I'll swarm a little. A REO will solve all those issues.

The Boge Revolution V2 might, and at $55 to $65 shipped, it is a less-painful way to see if its what you might like. I'm getting one for summer trips (can be used as a passthrough too). I got a little nervous about hauling my charger and 18650 batteries everywhere with me.

Probably the cheapest thing to try is dual coil carts.
I've been a dripper since 2008 but my 306 attys are getting lonely since I bought dual coil.
Now I'm only direct dripping when cooking a new batch of DIY flavor.

The Reo sounds nice if you find some extra cash.

If cash hard to find and you don't like dual coil I would consider a cheaper bottom feed PV.

If you haven't tried low resistance cartomizers, you should give those a shot. I didn't catch what batteries you are using. If you are using riva or ego or similar sized batteries you could try them. Haven't tried dual coils yet, but I have some on the way. Ikenvape has some mega lr cartomizers that will hold alot more juice, but I haven't tried them personally yet.
