help, need high res build on 24g kanthal!

so I got my new kayfun today and forgot that I can't build a coil lower than 1.3 ohm when I screw it on my vamo v5.

so now I'm stuck with a brand new coil and 24g kanthal only, help please!

well its gonna need a lot of wraps to get a coil at 1.3 ohms
my estimation is least 8 inches of wire will be need used how you wrap it may effect the end resistance of the finished coil. sharp bends will increase resistance.
(you will need a smaller size of wire) i recommend 32-30 AWG

30 wraps around a watermelon. ~3.1 ohms.

Seriously, though, 24 is WAY too thick to do any kind of feasible high resistance coil. I honestly don't think there would be space in any traditional device.

You need 30g for a vamo 28 at the most. You would need 8.2 inches to make 1.4ohms. You are screwed, got any old coils around I've taken stock coils apart and cleaned the wire, wrapped my own with it. Hope you have something laying around.
