Sorry to put this here, guys, but I'm still under my 15 post limit and this is sort of an emergency.
I started vaping just last week. Before I finished off the entirely excellent 2 sampler bottles of DeKang 26mg I got with my manual Joye 510, I ordered two 1-oz bottles of Tasty Vapor Atomic Fireball and Bananas Foster (both 24mg, both PG) as my first foray into new e-liquids.
Got them yesterday...and unfortunately, they are simply not cutting it.
Not even a little bit.
They taste nice, but the vapor production and throat hit are GROSSLY inferior to the little bitty DeKang samplers that came with the Joye 510. Like easily one half the vapor production of the supposedly crappy PG DeKang.
I was incredibly surprised that anybody would consider these liquids acceptable vaping material in a Joye 510, so I figured it was me. So I tried a lot of methods. Not even with a fully charged battery, a fresh atty and a long-slow hit with a manual batt was a I able to get anything approaching the kind of throat hit and vapor production I got from the supposedly crappy, low-quality DeKang stuff that came with it.
The final straw was when I actually MELTED part of the cart doing a 15 second slow drag just trying to extract a semi-reasonable lungful out of it...and ended up with the same lousy results, about the size of a mouthful puff off an analog, and no throat hit to speak of.
It's bad, people. I wouldn't grouse if it wasn't. I almost bummed an analog today for the first time since I picked up vaping. It's THAT BAD. I'm freaking out a little bit, actually.8-o8-o
I notice the stuff is much runnier than the DeKang, which is like maple syrup consistency and works GREAT. The flavor's so-so, but I do this to keep off the butts, not luxuriate in the aroma of a French cream pie.
Anybody want to unload some 26mg DeKang?
I don't care about the flavor, I don't care about the details, I'll happily trade BOTH of these nearly-full 1 oz bottles to anybody who wants to unload some of that hated 26mg DeKang. I'd vape doo-doo flavored e-liquid at this point if it's better than this, but I'm literally not going to make it another week at this rate. It's only slightly better than vaping nothing at all.
Note: I'm absolutely sure Geoff at TastyVapor makes a fine product, it smells great, shipped fast, etc. It's just absolutely not meeting my needs with the Joye 510 here. And yes, I experimented with direct-dripping and varying my draw time/strength. Even mixed in the teeny bit of DeKang PG I had left to try and make it vape better. Didn't help.
Anybody want to help a brother out? I'm in a bad way. It's making me miss the analogs BAD.
