Help needed. Kinda starting out.

Ok so first off I am new here to the ECF and am happy to start this journey. I have become a bit frustrated and am seeking some suggestions. A few months ago I purchased a 900 mAh Ego kit that came with two batteries two CE4 style clearos charger ect. I felt this was a great purchase and am happy with it so far. Now for the frustrating part one I love to smoke and vaping helps keep it healthy but I cant stand a PG throat hit and have plenty of VG strong juices in my stash to combat that. But even then I seem to still have a dry throat and it wont go away. I do admit I keep breaking down an picking up a pack of analogues. I have tried all kinds of delivery systems and am now using Boge 510 LR cartos. From what I have figured out is they are reliable, consistent, and don't leak. I do admit I have yet to upgrade the battery department. I love the Ego style because it fits well in my pocket and with the cartos is very portable. Down side is the amount of juice one can carry is stupid. I picked up a AeroTank thinking that may help and fiddled with the air port to help with the thick juice but it was awful! between dry hits and just bad flavor when it did burn right. I regretted it right away:(. Then I thought about a carto tank must be the answer but cant find anyone to talk to about the best options and all they want to do is sell me a clearo and I do not want that been down that road already.

So long story short what are some suggestions about a great portable setup and if this ...... sore irritated throat will go away. PS i am staying very hydrated and have no PG issues.

Hi

Sore throat could be either a symptom of quitting smoking (weird, but true) or a reaction to vaping. These liquids are hygroscopic in nature - they draw moisture and can dry you out in the process. If it's a quit smoking problem you just have to tough it out. If it's a vaping related thing you need to try sipping on some more water to compensate.

You may want to give a read through here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/3305-list-symptoms-when-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

ETA: Not a carto fan, but Baditude is. Check out his blog entries for info on cartos and carto tanks. (Starts on page two of his blog entries.) E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs
