Help Needed Please

Hi I am half way through building a v v mod by mamu using one of these nice items;

The help I need I want to but a LED display on it, and for the life of me I cant figure out where or how to put / fix it on the board, can someone please help me it would stop me hitting my head against the wall, thanks very much and is very much appreciated Tony

Need more info to help really. What kind of LED display is it ( got a picture) ? You got the specs on it? Do you want it on all the time or just when you vape? Are you saying you want it mounted on the board itself?

Hi would like it on the board if poss if not then anywhere will do, on or of I dont mind the led id a 3.5 digital LED Voltmeter,Lascar, 200mV, 11mm height hope this will help thanks

Hi mate volts just need help with the wiring on the board what goes where and to what to make it read the actual voltage reaching the atty, if that makes sense thanks for your help

Going to need you to take a picture of the back side of the LED. This meter could have been set up any of 20 or so different ways so i need to see how the jumpers are set and how it is wired.

It would be easier to use this Battery Voltage Indicator That meter you have now can be set up so many ways it makes it more difficult to use. You might can find one of those meters in the link locally at a hobby shop maybe.

I doubt it would hurt to reverse bias it with just a few volts, so you could throw a resistor in series (to limit short circuit current) with a battery and just try the different arrangements of wires. should (probably) be able to figure it out pretty quick, especially if you can tell what pins it probably uses by the traces on the board.

you may burn the meter out, but if you use a resistor, the battery will be fine. and you'll know what pins to use (probably).

I hope that works for you looks like one of the s2 readouts. Some folks say they have got them to work and some say it didnt work for them. S1 is what they have at madvapes. They are easy to hook up Two wires negitive and positive. The negitive will be on the outside should have a - symbol by it. Then you would hook your positive right next to it . Check out the mad vapes link again they have a pictures of one hooked up.
