I know this is kind of long, but please read through it...I need some advice from some good knowledgeable peoples.
MY CURRENT LAVATUBE SET UP:
Ok so I currently have two lava tubes version 1's,
Yes two.
Why 2?
Well because they are kind of less than good quality...imo.
The first one I had a pretty awesome experience with at first, it was my first venture into the world of VV and I think it served it's purpose, I mean it was fine before it fell, then fell apart. I dropped it, and had to do some surgery to it to make it work again, and it does work now, but over all it just seems to be kind of falling apart, now the bottom cap is falling off and the drop was directly on the top cap...weird. Also the paint on the top cap is coming off, and looks kind of janky. I am generally pretty easy on my pv's. The big drop was the only drop I have had so far.
I just recently got a good deal on a shiney finger print magnet polished "lambo" LT and well... it looks pretty!
Already having issues with it misfiring, Push the button...nothing...push it again and magic happens.
And some things just don't work on it. IE- My j-tank does not work on it at all. If I screw it on all the way, it will not fire.
I am ready to move on to a better more reliable American made VV mod (I do have a twist and love it for when I am out on the road, need something bigger/stronger for at home vape time
MY CURRENT TANK STATUS:
I have found that I like carto's the best, so I naturally would love carto tanks, right?
Not so far.
I have had bad luck with them.
Cheap smoktech DCT'S, and meh made American tanks have been my experiences.
I am currently using a j-tank, and after dealing with some delrin shards in my juice from shredding the end caps cause the holes were so tight that my carto literally wouldn't fit in them, I like it ok. I know a lot of people love them, but for me it has been kind of a hassle to get it up and going, and I lost about 2/12 tanks worth of bobas due to nasty delrin shards of doom.
Over all j tanks are good (now that I have broken through the undersized carto holes in the caps) but I want something better.
Yes I love dripping, but no I don't have the money to invest in a rebuildable atty tank, as much as I would like to it's just not an option for me right now.
So a carto tank it is...
I want a good American made (no offense to other countries) preferably in glass or pyrex.
I have a firm 250.00 budget to get a quality tank setup, and a new vv mod that will last me, and serve as a primary vaping set up.
So...
Here are some random thoughts...
Of coarse I want a provari, I am familiar with it. I am tempted to just grab one and say screw the tank, but I really do need a good tank also.
I like phinac's tanks, but can't make both a provari and a phiniac happen for 250.00
I have already spent so much money, and my promise to my non smoker wife that vaping is going to be cheaper than analogs has proven to be a BIG ol fat lie. So we have discussed it and I should be able to free up about 250.00 in the budget coming up soon, but it's the last big vaping money I can have for a while. (first baby due in October ...stoked!
)
So I need to quit buying cheap chinese made crap and get a setup that is proven and reliable and won't need to be replaced in a month or two, or shatter if dropped.
In a mod, I must have VV! 3.7 Just isn't doing it for me now. I like around 5v's. I also LOVELOVE LOVE the ohm reading, and regulated output features of the provari. Is there any other mod's out there that offer these options? (believe me I have searched the internets back and forth, and have yet to find a device as highly praised as the provari, so this thread is a shot in the dark)
Any other tank suggestions based on my stated desires? (U.S. made, glass)
In short I need your Help...
So here is your mission if you choose to accept:
Put together a VV mod/Tank combo for me based upon my desires (as much as possible) for around $250.00 usd (links to products would also be greatly appreciated)
Think: What would I do if I were in the pastor's shoes?
Thanks in advance.
p.s.- sorry for the horrible punctuation/spelling. It's 3:30 am here and I have been on the interwebs searching for my answer.
