my advice - don't keep messing with it! To make coils you will need a multimeter - it you don't have one - then remedy that first.

That will stop you using things that will short your batteries and possibly damage you as well. Steer well clear of it until you have the tools and equipment as well as knowledge needed to make them safely.

So.... First of all. STOP!!!! If you don't have a multimeter and have never built a quad-coil, now is not the time to start. This is how you blow up stuff and make the situation worse for all of us. Sub-ohm multi-coils builds can be dangerous if you don't do it right. To get a 1ohm quad coil build, you need 4 4ohm coils. If you build it with 4 1ohm coils you will wind up with a resistance of .25ohms. Which will be pulling almost 17amps and putting out over 70watts. Please buy a multimeter and learn to use ohms law. Unless you are using 30amp green Sony batteries you are overtaxing your battery which can lead to heating/venting/explosions. I'm not saying that you should never build a quad coil because they can be one of the most rewarding vapes. But you should be metering them before you fire them. Make sure that you have good quality batteries and that you are aware of the limits of your batteries.

i need help with building a quad coil , i tried but my entire mod got super hot . any suggestions?

You are very likely drawing too much current from your battery. Stop. Do not do this. It could be quite dangerous.

You need to learn about electricity. Ohm's law is an important one for us vapers. Here is a video explaining some of the details. It's a bit cheesy, but the information in it is easy to understand and a good starting point to understanding this stuff. Watching this (and maybe taking notes) will allow you to explore the topic further. Google is your friend here. If you get stuck, you can also come back and ask questions here.

Whatever you do, remember that if your battery is getting hot, you are doing something wrong. Stay safe :thumb:

whoa! No meter means bad things can happen. especially at quad. it takes the original resistance divided by 4 and you probably ran super low ohms. Then a possible short and you got an inferno inside your mod from the battery failing. Safe advise and thing to do is wait until you have an ohm meter to make coils. safety first and don't need accidents to make vaping look unsafe.
