Help Please! Boge Cartos Making Me Ill!

I'm not sure of any vendors in the UK (I'm from the States!) but one thing I want to say too is that you may want to stay off the Chinese juice for a bit too - you do hear of bad things concerning Chinese juice every now and then. Just like you, I got a throat infection from a cartomizer-based disposable e-cig, and mine was entirely built and juiced in China, so to this day, I was never sure if it was the juice or carto. You may just have to build up the funds to go to a local vape shop and invest in whatever kit may at least work in the meantime for you - I've had to make do with buying disposables from gas stations because all my tanks tend to taste like silica and trigger asthma and coughs depending on how long I test with them, or based on how severe the taste is.

Some times you just FREAK ME OUT.

Every time you type something new it gets stranger.

If you are buying Branded Product, even Hangsen or Dekang from a reputable Distributer/vender/etc. chances will be EXTREMELY rare of getting even 1 bottle of liquid with an actual issue. You may or may not like what you bought, but that has nothing to do with anything quality wise.

Sounds to me like the Op has purchased some off brand or start up Companies e-liquid. Very doubtful the Boges are the issue. Cartos can occasionally be a little hit and miss, but rarely are they All or nothing.

Maybe the dealer found he had been conned and got a real deal on Knockoff product. Not to take a loss, turn them cheap and recover funds. You never know.

I have been purchasing Boge cartos from various trustworthy sources for over a year and never even had a non firing carto. Every one so far has worked flawlessly.

One unique thing tho about blu disposable
They can be used for a whole 3 months with a 510 add hack
they are totally awesome carts
they blow every cart i have used away

yes 3 months constant use they are amazing --the only change was to add a 510 froma boge to it using all eeverything blu inside.

I'm getting all-Boged out and ill with Boge cartos! I usually order my cartos in bulk and I have a large stock of cartos, all Boge. Each new carto I use is awful and DANGEROUS!, filling my lungs with noxious vapours and making my chest so bad I have contracted viral bronchitis. I can't use the carto from new.

Maybe it's time for you to try another type of atomizer? Innokin's iClears are dual mid/top coils if you like a warm vape full of flavour (you do have to tilt them though to keep them juiced) - or if you don't mind a cooler vape, how about a KFL+ clone? The Tobeco one is supposed to be very good.

The whole 'Bogegate' thing doesn't look like it's going away so maybe it's time for a change?

What do you mean by add a 510 from a Boge? I thought Blu had 510 threading?

Its the Blu disposable not their rechargeable e cig.. It has a plastic cap on the end of it that lights when you vape you remove that and replace it with a 510 connector adding wires up to the atomizer its quite simple.

I have not heard good things about the rechargeable Blu but people really like the disposable Blu's. My local corner store sells out a box of Blu's everyday.. I see why they like it a lot its the bomb great vapor and flavor..

Dear fellow vapers,

I have had time to assess things and thought I would get back with some of my findings. I have changed my configuration to using VIP branded clearomizers and also VIP juices from a local reputable supplier. I have also tried the new juice with my Boge cartos. The clearomizes are working okay with the new juice and the Boge is also working okay with the new juice. Whilst my vaping experience is not awesome I have managed to get through this sticky patch with all the helpful suggestions and info from everyone and I thank everyone who responded to my concerns. My chest is still tight at times but lets hope this subsides. I am so glad I didn't go back to the analogs in my initial panic and waste over six years of good work! I have decided to listen to the suggestion of CRXESS and I am abandoning my complete stock of 17 50ml bottles of directly sourced Chinese juice ( I'm not sure to mention here the supplier?! ). As I said earlier I bought in bulk to get the maximum savings but this juice has been on my shelf for longer than six months I would say. Unfortunately I am going to have to take a big loss and just bin them. One of my major conclusions from all this is to at least buy quality juice in small quantities, even though it is more expensive. I EMPHASIZE here that I now believe that the juice I was using was a major contribution to the difficulties I was having and I now readily place an apology to Boge cartos which, I think if used in conjunction with quality accessories, seem fit for purpose. In an ideal situation I would get the juice I am binning analysed but I do not have the resources for this. As my budget allows I am still going to try out the other suggestions given in this thread.

I don't use boge cartos because they irritate my throat not to mention syringe filling is a pain. Ikenvape fusions only for me.

Thanks for the update. I read this thread a few days ago and it's to hear what happened in the end.

Sorry you had to dump so much juice! But it is great you stayed away from cigarettes and now you can move on. Hopefully this does it for you. Best of luck with it

Well, it won't make any difference to you because of the irritation, but when I used cartos I used Boges and never used a syringe. Condom method works great. I never tried Ikenvape, but I've heard good things about them.

Sometime I get to thinking there's something going on on the Chinese system to test how quickly different contaminated products get detected as a prelude to mass poisoning... Since we buy just about everything from china these days, it might be a very effective way to stunt Americas place in the world entirely, clearing the way for a Chinese hegemony...

My, lots of experimenting and sampling going on here! I've now got a Pro Tank 2 which uses disposable heads. The disposable heads are not too great so I just rebuilt one of these heads using videos on YouTube and research on here. The head works! However I used inferior cotton wool from the bathroom supplies and there is a horrible burning taste, which could be down to the cotton wool. The vapour production is very much better though, which is pleasing. I can't really use the new head as is but I'm now going to experiment using silica wick and mesh and see what happens. I like the Pro Tank setup and if I can just tweek the rebuilt attie head to stop the burnt taste but keep the voluminous vapour I think I will have found a good system to keep me happy. The rebuild I did produced various messages on my Sigelei, namely SHORT! and LOW LOAD but I'm hoping with future rebuilds I can maybe avoid these problems. I'm also still using the VIP branded clearomizers and juice which I find okay too. I've also a sampler pack of juices from Apollo and I like some more than others.

Burning taste is more often to much cotton - stopping proper wicking so cotton gets charred or attempting to vape before cotton gets fully saturated, again causing charring.
