So i saw a site listing 100 prewrapped coils for $6, hard to pass up...though I'd like to know if these are good with RDTAs such as the subtank mini, here are the specs
24 AWG / 0.5mm dia. / 0.6ohm / 12*12mm leads / 8 loops

The only thing I'm kind of concerned about is the Material Nichrome
because I never heard of it, and that it's wrapped at 0.5mm

I use prewrapped coils like you are describing using nichrome wire and silica wicks to rebuild coils in my protank 3s and kanger mt3s and I love them. nichrome has a slightly lower resistance than kenthal so you would use a smaller gauge or fewer turns. I pay $2.06 to $2.37 for a pack of 50 be depending on the resistance and size of the wick but they work very well for me and last longer than the original factory coil that I am rebuilding. I have used kenthal and nichrome and can see no difference in the performance and taste.for a given resistance a nichrome coil will be a little smaller and heat up a little faster but thats the only difference i've seen

Nichrome 60 was widely used in the beginning for Most atomizer coils. And is still found today in Many Pre-Build Coils.

I have used Nichrome 60, Nichrome 80 and Kanthal A/A1 for Many different types of builds. And I prefer Nichrome 80 over any Kanthal hands down.

To me, Kanthal gives a hit which has a Harshness to it. Whereas Nichrome 80 is Much Smoother.

Of course, Taste is Subjective. And YMMV.

BTW - Do you have a Link to those Pre-Built Coils you mentioned?

I wasnt sure if we were allowed to post the link or not but here you go I'm going to order 2 of them.

So from my understand I should be fine with a 0.5mm with the subtank mini and nichrome can actually be better than Kanthal? .6 is still a good subohm hit, if I chose to do a dual RDA build with them what can I expect?

I just got an error saying An error has occurred kennethk1! You are not allowed to post links.
I'll PM it to you if you're interested

Since I cant do either just look at readon for editing :p

Better is a Funny Word.

I like the Taste of Nichrome "better" that Kanthal. But both the Nichrome and the Kanthal work about the Same. And you might find that you like the Taste of Kanthal over Nichrome. Or you might find that there is No Difference in taste for you.

When you are starting out, you just have to Try some different combinations to see what works Best for You.

No problem on posting that Link. I was just curious about them. And I didn't notice that you only had 5 Posts.

Take a look at my edit section it's there, so for $6 it's not a bad deal? I do hear Nichrome heats up faster so pulsing at lower watts is probably a good idea?

I thought maybe the ones you mentioned were from Fasttech. I don't think those would be a Problem. But one thing to consider is the Diameter of the Coil.

I believe those are 2.5mm Diameter Coils. Not Bad. I like to Make 3.5mm Coils because it is Easier to put Cotton thru them. Also, the Larger Diameters can Wick Better. Which is a Huge Plus if you use Higher VG e-Liquids.
