Wife's little Chuck, two batteries, two Storm tanks, and a Van Gogh themed baggie of small juice bottles were stolen from her car today while parked outside of the Whole Foods Market in Tampa, FL. The theft occurred between ~1640 and ~1730 today. Her lil' Chuck (courtesy of RIMP) can be seen in this picture with a Storm tank. The Charlie Brown Christmas theme.

Not that I expect this to just magically appear out-and-about but if you see it listed for sale anywhere please do let me know. Wife is crushed, she really liked it. Thank you, -Magnus

Dang Mag, that just plain sucks bro. :( I hope you filed a theft report. Not that any agency would actively look for it but you may get lucky if the report is on file as it is likely that the person(s) who ripped you off were thinking of another herbal type usage.

Seriously, it wont take you a lot of time and based on my 27 years experience, being able to spot something that gives Probable Cause is usually kept in a note pad by competent officers. Seeing it alone would give an officer reasonable suspicion enough to ask or require a look at it under our laws here in Florida. Long shot, yes but you never know man.

Best of luck and will keep the forum eye peeled for that critter.

Thanks everybody! I guess my wife is OK enough. We filed a report and I appreciate the eyes.

After she took my Precise P18 away from me as her temporary device. She gave me her red 808 with the dying batteries and then she batted her big eyelashes and told me she really needed to shop to feel better.... two mods, a lot of cartos, some juice, batteries, drip tips, a bunch of clothes, two pairs of shoes, and a new purse later she is fine.

I on the other hand will be eating Ramen noodles for a few months. -Magnus

Sure sorry to hear of such a thing. How did they gain entry into the car?

If you check your home insurance policy and look under Coverage C – Personal Property, you will find a detailed answer to your question about what your policy actually covers. Some renters insurance is applicable too.

Typically, personal belongings away from your home are covered at about 10% of the value of the coverage you have on your home.

At the least, it is worthy of checking out.
Let us know how things go for you two.
