HELP!!! Quit smoking setup?

Need some recommendations for a good setup, for my mom!! Shes been a moderate smoker (1/2 pack a day) for 20yrs now. I was thinking either the istick mini 10w or the istick 30w, on a nautilus mini. I gave her a vape pen in the past, didn't seem to work for or me. Luckily for me i got into mech mods.

I'm debating between the 10w version and the 30w vers. just cuz I don't know if 10w would be enough. I just know it has to be small and compact. Has to hit hard enough to give you that first cigarette light headiness, you get in the morning.

I really want her to quit the cancer sticks and start vaping. Im open to any other suggestions, but keep in mind; it has to be simple enough for a woman over 50 to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I use istick mini (20w I thought it was?) and mini nautilus (44 here) I handle it just fine lol. Its very simple set up and gives me more than enough power and hit to keep me off the smokes over 3 weeks here!! I also use smokeless image volts with their mini clearos with my stonger nic juice 24mg just dropping to 18mg now with my morning coffee as it gives me a good boost and kinda feels like my old friend the morning smoke LOL. SO yeah istick all day with my volt cigalike with stronger juice if I have bad cravings.

I appreciate all your quick responses. Especially, yours Diana, I believe the istick 20w is a happy medium, but I think I have to go with Bob's istick 30w. Only reason being, the istick 30w can handle and looks better with my old kayfun, (no overhang). Plus i can rebuild for her. A pro that helped me quit the habit was realizing how much $ I was saving. Of course ill start her off with the simple nautilus.

As for the age and gender discrimination <---JuST KiDDiNG:laugh:. Im really not trying to offend anyone. Just trying to reiterate the fact, that she is not vape mod savy, so I need it to be simple. Thank Y'all again... MUCH MUCH Appreciated.

Thats +2 for istick 30w and 0 for istick mini... Any mini owners out there? Love to hear what you have to say

Hey! I would go with the istick 20w (or 30w), a naut mini, and to start out 18mg nic. Plenty of power, flavor, and a high nicotine to start out with. Good luck! :vapor:

Hey Archer...woman 54 here. The Nautilis mini is a great choice. We over 50s can figure this one out easily enough lol

SuperTaz is correct. The elderly, although extremely dangerous behind the wheel of a vehicle... they still have the ability to learn certain simple tasks.

Because of plastic furniture covers they have less of a risk of juice related upholstery damage. Studies have shown that after one hour of watching Matlock or Murder she wrote, the elderly are generally more relaxed and able to complete simple tasks like building dual micro coils.

I kid, I kid.... nautilus mini and a microstick is a great choice.

PS. I am 44 and very tech savvy.... unfortunatley so nearsighted that I cant see whatever device I am holding... I have ruined 2 cellphones trying to screw a nautilus tank into them. I have answered my MVP several times now.

I started my brother vaping on christmas on a Nautilis mini, iStick 20w a pack of replacement coils and 30mg of 12 mg liquid. He is learning to vape and smoking 4 cigs per day. If I had it to do over I woud use the iStick 30w and include an additional bottle of liquid at 18 mg so he would have both options. Make your mom do the first fill. My brother recently orderd a 120 ml from ITC vapes. One other thing I would have done is make sure he had an alternative flavor. I wish I was doing DIY flavors then giving him lots of options woulld be cheap and easy.

70 yrs here and you can bet I've learned the hard way. The K.I.S.S. method has become my credo; and because so many other things have become so complicated in our everyday life (You need a danged ITT degree to set up a TV anymore!) that I didn't need vaping to be ONE MORE complicated thing! :glare:

The setups mentioned above all seem to be pretty good to go. Why don't you take your mom by a "good" B&M nearby so she (1) can handle/feel the battery, (2) check out juice flavors, and (3) know where to go when you're not available? Would be a nice few hrs. of dau/mom time. :)

P.S. I like watching Golden Girls.
