Hi everyone--hoping someone can offer some advice.

The past few days, I have been running a mini protank 2 on.an iTaste mvp2. I typically vape somewhere between 3.7 and 4.0 volts, with a 2.5 ohm coil in the protank.

Last night I noticed that vapor was down to almost nothing, and flavor was really lacking...I checked the ohms of the atomizer and was getting 3.6. I re-seated the protank, checked again, same. I thought maybe the coil was just bad, so I swapped it out for a brand new one.

Ahhh....good vapor, good flavor and reading 2.5 ohms. By the time I went to bed last night (vaped for maybe 15 minutes on the new coil), it was reading 2.7; when I got up this morning, it was reading 3.0; and now it's reading 3.4 and vapor/flavor are nearly nonexistant.

I'm vaping a juice that I have vaped many times before with no issues re: gunking up the coils (it's clear and pretty high PG).

Any thoughts on what could be going on?? This stinks LOL!!

Have you tried just turning up the voltage when this happens? See if it helps the flavor/vapor improve until you get a replacement or find a permanent fix.

If you can find another OHM meter to test on that would be good.

How long have you had the MVP?

Also, perhaps you got a bad batch of coils. I recommend buying them at 1.8 or 2.2 ohms as those seem to have the most consistency in my opinion. Bad batches of coils happen all the time.

Any time my resistance jumps around, there is always either a spotty connection or something is loose. Sometimes my R91% resistance would fluctuate, it's always the center pin has screwed itself up into the atty and isn't making a good connection. Sometimes the resistance in one of my RM2's fluctuates and it's always a post screw that's come a bit loose.
