A few tips on juices:
1) as with MOST things, cheaper isn't necessarily going to cost you less in the long run. If a juice is $3/10ml, but you need to vape 3ml a day to feel satisfied and it makes your throat hurt an gives you terrible dry-mouth, but a $6/10ml juice is so satisying that you only vape 1ml/day and your throat isn't sore and you only need to sip a glass of water now and then the "more expensive" juice is actually the same "price", AND you feel better and enjoy the experience more, which is priceless...
2) Cheaper juices often are made from Chinese ingredients, which are sometimes lower quality. Look at the small "boutique" companies here in the US like "Alice in Vapeland", "Heathers Heavenly Tobacco", "Highbrow", "Halo" and some of the other smaller companies. Their juices are a little more expensive, but they taste GREAT, have tons of vapor and can be customize to ANY blend you want for VG/PG.
3) if you were a pack-a-day Winston smoker, you'll probably want to look at juices with higher PG levels for the throat hit. Juices with higher VG will be smoother, but won't give you that feeling in your throat that a Winston does, and probably won't be satisfying, so you'll vape a LOT more. And don't worry about trying to find a juice that replicates your brand--such a juice probably does not exist. You might find something close, but in my opinion, NOBODY makes an e-liquid that actually tastes like a "real" ciggie--and that is a good thing, because when you get down to it, even the really expensive high-end ciggies like Nat Shermans taste like burnt, charred ......
Find a flavor that you like, and buy it from several vendors. Fruit flavors, "bakery" flavors, and "tobacco" flavors (which are more like good pipe tobacco than a ciggie) are popular, and there are some GREAT juices out there. Pretty soon, you'll actually forget what a ciggie really tastes like, and you'll be looking for (and open to) more and more exotic flavor.
Also, you might want to look at vanilla and caramel-based flavors if you were a Winston smoker.
Hope that helps. Let us know how you're progressing, and STAY WITH IT.
The simple fact is that the first time, you weren't ready to quit the ciggies, and THAT is why you went back. It wasn't the equipment, or the flavors or the cost--it was YOU, and you just weren't ready to make the commitment. Hopefully you are more dedicated to the cause now,and we're here to help!
So good luck, and keep on vaping!
