(Help) strawberies and cream + vanilla cupcake

I mixed 2 flavors but the taste isn't good. Then I found a recipe, it shows me how much % should I use. So, the question is: can I drop more flavor and steep it again? Or I have to mix a new one? Thank you so much.

I have often added more flavor and steeped again. EDIT : it is advisable to make small batches when experimenting with diy. Take notes as you go so you know what you did right.
