Well, that's a good question (though you did preface it by saying you were wondering about 3.7V!!!), I like the 1.5s on my GGTB but the 2.0s on my GGTS with 510/901 cap.........:)

haha, just making sure.

i just added some cisco 306 2ohms to my basket..
i've only used 306s.. but i may try one of each of 901, 801, and 510 at 2ohms as well.

Thanks guys! :)

I'll definitely keep these in mind for when i get a UFS!

it seems that i am almost set with atomizers for 3.7v... except i am waiting for ikenvape's store to open so i can try their mini-801. i have cisco 306s, 510s, and 901s on order (all 2-ohm).

now i am obsessing about 6v.. battery choices, atomizer choices, resistance choices... does it EVER end? ;)

thanks for your opinions! i need to peel myself away from the forum for a few hours..

Tenergy LiFePO4s, buy 10 on amazon, they're cheaper that way!!!! The green are 3.2, the yellow 3.0........:thumb:

bought 10 tenergy 3.0v LiFePO4s 750mAh batteries from BatteryJunction.com for $35.02, about 6 dollars less than Amazon (Battery Superstore, the only Amazon seller who sells by 10-packs)..

i've read that some people who like 3.5ohm atomizers when vaping 6V with GGTS.. The only place i know of that sells 3.5ohms is Ikenvape.com but they're closed for the next couple weeks.

if i have to wait, then i'll be content vaping at 3.7V in the meantime.

I have a bunch of 3.3Ω and I think it's perfect in my GGTS at 6v.

Anything from 3.0 to 3.6 ohms is fine for 6v in my opinion, especially if you're using LiFePO4s since they will drop in output over the life of the charge. At 3.0 ohms you're getting 12 watts (the upper end of good for me) and at 3.5 you are at 10 watts. That's right in the sweet spot for most HV vapers.

Edit: Sorry, the OP was for 3.7v. I got sucked into the 6v topic. :)

The closest I can find are Cisco 4ohms, which would provide about 9watts. i just now tried running a 4ohm 306 at 6V on my Provari and it seemed way too hot with a big drop in flavor. I cannot imagine anybody enjoying this... But I guess I'll just have to find out.

I really wonder what, besides power, is a determinant for our "sweet spots"? Does sweet spot vary among pv's? Does it vary with Current (I)? I'm most curious..

Besides power, the juice has a big impact as well as the nicotine level. Also sweetened juices tend to burn more easily at higher voltage. But it's mostly a factor of watts.

Just going from memory, the sweet spot is generally between 8 and 12 watts. People who enjoy a cooler vape are usually in the 8-10 range. When I want HV, I'm looking for the lower end of 10-12 watts. That's why I said I think 10 watts is just about right for both.

As you said, if you're using 4 ohms, you're at 9 watts. But you could just as easily hit that at 3.7v with a LR 1.5Ω atomizer. That's why I don't understand HV vaping with HR atomizers. Maybe someone more experienced can explain that.

All of this becomes somewhat irrelevant with variable voltage. That's why we're all so excited about the VV GGTS.

:)

Edit: I added a spreadsheet which assumes a 2.5 amp limit which shows the relationship. You obviously get that, but others might be interested. If you modify the atomizer resistance, it changes the output in watts.
