What batteries are recommended with the GGTS for 3.7v and 7.4v vaping? I'd prefer protected...but I guess it will really depend on price for now...I will (hopefully) be purchasing my GGTS and AVS this next week, so I'll already be out a good chunk of change - plus some high voltage atties - so I'd rather skimp on batteries now and get better ones later ('cause I'm going to need a charger, too)

thanks

Will 2x Ultrafire 18500 1600mah 3.7v protected batteries fit?!?

Not sure but the GGTS will be at is largest point, I personally used for many months 7.4v on the GGTS and must say i can get a full days vape with consistant power with 2x AW IMR (RED) 16340's 550mah. You should be good to go!

if their diameter is up to 18,4mm then they will fit ken:)

no he's concerned about length; two 50mm cells won't fit unless you use the 18650 extension, one or two of the midsection pieces should do it. if you want to stack batteries in the GGTS w/out additional parts, the best route is two AW IMR16340s as keon said, but you could also do regular 3.7V 16340s (CR123A), 3.7V CR2 batteries (15270s), 3.7V 14250s, or even 3.7V BDL IMR18350s or the regular 3.7V ultrafire 18350s...but again, best setup is the AW IMR16340s.

I've used the standard UltraFire and Tenergys for quite awhile, but recently upgraded to the AW's and I can definitely attest to a difference in both charging life and hit/vapor production. I'm using mostly LR or HV attys now and they definitely run better and longer with the AW's. If you're just using regular atties then the UltraFires and Tenergy's will do fine.
