I'd like your help on this.

My wife and I both started on the e-health e-cig. The one with a cork colored cartridge that has a piece of fuzzy cloth and maybe 5 drops of liquid.

I moved onto the ego-T, then to bottom feeders. I gave her the tanks.

Now she says she preferred the cork carts.
Says she doesn't get a pg/vg film in her mouth the way the tanks do.
I find the cork carts expensive and difficult to refill. Not sure what their formula is.

Here's my list of 3 questions.
1. Any suggestions on how to make a juice for the tank that she likes?
2. If you have the cork carts laying around, I'll consider buying/trading them from you.
3. Any suggestions on refilling cork carts. Refilling seems to consistently leak juice in the mouth.
Should I consider replacing the batting material when I refill.

Thanks all.

To each their own. What is so bad about her enjoying an e health cart?

I may end up buying the carts.
I've got the DIY stuff.
Whatever it is I'm missing in filling the cart so it doesn't leak or filling the tank so it doesn't leave a film in her mouth is what I'm seeking.

May try the blue foam.

30 cents a cart seems reasonable. A buck a piece is robbery.

Depending on how many carts she uses in one day, it would probably still be cheaper than buying cigarettes? In Saint Louis, cigs are a little over $4.00 a pack which of course equals to 4 cartridges there.

But, I agree that is a bit o' a high price to be payin' when juice is on the cheap - too bad she doesn't like to drip, huh?

From poking around a little it seems that there is a good chance the E-Health is an RN4081 model.
You should be able to find blank cartridges and even cartomizers for that using the Google.

As for filling tips so that it doesn't leak, what are the steps you are taking to fill it now?

If it's this thing, I'm pretty sure it's a 401 knock off that is called an EC502. dealextreme will definitely have the best price on carts for it. It'll take about a month to get them though.

Jazdale does that thing have an atomizer separate from the carts? Regardless, get an all PG juice. Maybe some dekang at madvapes. Also try her on some boge cartos.

From the various posts I found, there are many suggestions that it might be an M401 model.
But there were a couple of posts that stated definitively that it is an RN4081 model.

I have no proof either way, but from what I read I would tend to believe the definitive posts over the speculative posts.

It would be super-cool if the original poster were to find out for sure.
But they are probably moving on to something else and we will still never know for sure.

I started with one of these also. The best way to refill the carts is to NOT mess with the filler and just top off the little compartment with 4-5 drops of liquid using a syringe with a dulled needle. Any more and it'll leak, try to remove the filler and replace and it'll leak, look at it wrong, it'll leak. BTW, these don't work well for dripping as they are automatics and easy to flood.

MickeyRat tagged it exactly. The black box e-health or Health e-cig.
Too bad we paid 10 times that amount...but it did stop the analogs.

The atty is a very small middle section that screws onto an automatic batt and the plastic cork color slips over the exposed atty.

-------------------
When I attempted to refill, I simply applied a few drops on the existing batting. Very minimal batting inside. I noticed that many of the carts were still usable if I just pushed the batting closer to the atty.

Putting too much batting will restrict airflow.
Also, auto batteries means killing them if they get leaked on.

----------------------------
Concerning the whole 'wife' thing.
I quit analogs, she still smokes. I noticed that she vapes less and smokes more as time goes on.
I'm trying to eliminate the fickle excuses with an understanding that you have to 'want to quit'.

I did buy 60 carts for a whopping 9 bucks. I'll let you know when they come in.

Thanks guys.

A 25 pack is $13.65 here in Canada, cheaper ones are around $10. Right around $98 a carton of 8

Please post back when (if) you verify that they are M401s instead of RN4081s.
This question has come up a few times before with no solid confirmations that I could find.

That picture does look more like an M401 because of the ridge on the atomizer.
So if yours has that ridge, it probably is an M401 model.

The picture is identical, right down to the gold lettering. You do see the picture don't you?
What ridge?

The ridge thing on the atomizer where it says E-CIGARETTE.
The RN4081 doesn't have that ridge, but I think the M401 model does.

I don't believe the RN4081 has a separate atomizer.

That's pretty typical. Mean of me to post that. OTOH it stops someone from saying but, I paid $XXX for this, I can't switch to something else.

Jeez. 20 carts for 3 bucks..I can't DIY that cheap. Ordered and waiting...

I got the 'health e-cig' from dealextreme (also have a box or 2 of unused 0 nic carts); but these do not have the polyfill in the carts. The carts have a small foil covered inner chamber that the atty bridge punctures. Not sure these are the same as the ones your wife likes.
[If she does like them and is interested in some 0 nic; PM me and I'll send them to you. No charge, I'm not using them]
