why would you not put it on the battery side where the voltage is constant? or is it just more reliable to put it on the output side?

The advantage is in the fact that it lights when the atty has power. I guess this would only really be a useful indication for trouble shooting similar to the idiot light on your cars dash =]

i was going to convert an existing mod to vv - it already has the led in place i was just going to leave it alone it would end up wired parallel with the vv circuit but still would show when you fire just not that there is output on the vv. i do think i like the idea of the led after the vv for troubleshooting reasons but is there any reason it wouldn't work with the led on the input side?

I guess it would depend on how you are switching your mod. If you are using the control pin on the okr it won't work as the LED would always have power. If you are using a high amp switch and switching battery power it will work.

um yea standard 3a switch on the neg leg (standard box mod) - i was just going to move the existing positive off the atty to power the vv and add the neg lead off the button where the atty and led are wired to. positive from vv to atty. simple add on / switchover to vv and leave the existing switches and led in place. if anything can ever be that simple lol
