Ok so here is my dilemma. I am trying to use a Protank Mini 3 on an Innokin Itaste V3. The juice i am using is MtBakerVapors Extreme ice 12mg Max VG.

So i fill and put on the PTM3 on the Itaste. I let it wick for id say 15 minutes. I go to start to vape. I dont really get anything. I up the wattage. Still not that much. I continue this way all the way up to 11 watts. The max on the Itaste. I am getting virtually nothing out of this thing. Finally i decide to try and drip the juice to see if it works, and boy did it. Huge flavor, huge vapor, nice throat hit.

So what the hell is going on? Is my coil bad or something?

You might need to check and make sure the juice is wicking into the coil. the wick material may be too tight. try removing the bottom where you fill from, remove the stem from the top of the coil and look to see if the wick is wet with the juice at the coil windings, if the wick has juice you may have a defective coil. options are if you purchased it from a local vendor, pay them a visit. if not then maybe look into rebuilding the coil. there are lots of youtube how-to videos. also, something you might try, I noticed this on my mini 3, with the juice in the tank and pointed up, slightly unscrew the bottom. you'll see a couple of air bubbles go, tighten it up and your good. mine had an air pocket preventing juice from getting to the lower coil wick giving me somewhat of a dry hit.

Max VG juice with tanks is an ongoing issue for a lot of people. If you have some PG on hand you could thin it slightly, or you could do the same with distilled water.

You could also try removing one of the wicks from the coil head, the ones that lay on top. This can let the juice wick better. It can also cause flooding with thinner juices. Rebuilding coil heads with cotton instead of silica works for some people. Protank 2 coil heads are easier to rebuild, and will work in a mini Protank 3. Sometimes they need an additional silicone O ring, which you can take from another coil head. You invert it and sit it on top of the existing one at the base of the chimney.
