Replacing the heads is replacing the coil right? If I wrap my own coils will I need to buy heads anymore?
Yes, in general (if you are rebuilding the coil) the only part of the head that needs to be replaced is the coil. Eventually you may need to replace an insulator that gets torn.

Hear is a video showing you all the parts of the head and how to wrap a microcoil. Mini Protank Micro Coil Rebuild

Is it safe to use a 1.8 ohm coil with the itaste VV? I need to do some homework...

I'll see if I can find a deal on one, thanks =)

I dunno man, he's already complaining about not being able to leave it hanging in his mouth while he's working, a box might not be his thing lol.

I really need to win him over with the price on everything, I doubt he'll try this if I show him $70-100 starting materials and the cost of new coils ect.
I have deals I want to ask about but I can't post links! arghhhh

Don't discount the MVP 2. It is much tougher than the vv V3 and lasts much longer on a single charge as well. I also find it more pocketable. As for the MPT2 vs 3.........I like the MPT2 better but not enough to pay separate shipping. I don't think there's that much of a difference.

The ohm's law calculator explained it pretty quick =P

If this were for me hell I'd buy the dildo shaped battery if it performed well. I gotta get my dad hooked first before he'll get interested in oddly shaped batteries.

Yes, 1.5, 1.8, 2.2, 2.5, all of the Kanger coils over 1 ohm are safe to use in the iTaste VV.

Kanger has recently come out with sub-ohm coils, but without knowing the amp limitations of your battery (which I don't know) I would stay away from these sub-ohm coils.
