Help with a volt meter

I am currently using a vv box mod from Mad Vapes and I also have a Red Sky mod 5v Misty(she's a beauty). Today I received a volt meter that screws into the battery connector and has a female receiver to screw your carto into. Here lies the problem:

The volt meter works flawlessly on the vv box mod. However, when I attach it to my RSM, I get no reading. I know that I am getting voltage because the carto is firing and I'm getting an awesome vape. What am I missing?

My 2 cents.. That sounds like it may be a connection issue. I've noticed some of the threading on some of my 510 sized battery connections can be slightly longer/shorter and wont allow a perfect connection... One thing you may want to try is to buy a regular multi-meter with the pen style contact points so you can be sure the multi is connected to the battery connections (I bought a cheap one from harbor freight for like $4.99). You can test non battery connections this way also, such as wires and circuitry etc

Either way good luck!

If you would have taken the time to read the link provided by Devlin, you would know the reason is that the RSMs are wired backwards from conventional.

ETA: You cannot read a GLV neither. In this case the GLV can only be read when fired, which produces 4.99V
