Hey guys! So I just got a new vision spinner 2 today, and it doesn't seem to be charging. When I plug it in with the charger that came with it, the light is green. But when I take it off and try and use it, it won't even turn on. And it was working perfectly fine before the battery died after using it for a little bit. I also tried cleaning it, but that didn't work. And keep in mind that u left it on the charger for about 4 hours. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi and welcome to the board. Just guessing, I'd say you have a bad charger. Most of the spinner batteries use some code of the LED button to also indicate charge state, what's that telling you? It's also possible you have a bad battery; those do happen. Did it ever work? Or are you trying to charge it before using it for the first time?

Make sure you don't over tighten your tank. You can push the pin inside you 510 connection and your atties won't make good contact as well as your charger doing the same thing its doing now. Being a new battery I don't think this is the case, but for future reference be careful. Just stop when you feel it fit snug, that extra half a turn can make for devastating results. Good luck and happy vaping!

Greetings and welcome @Burgandy I just dug out my old Spinner 2 and put it on the charger to see what it does. Initially the charger light was green, the Spinner button flashed blue then white a couple times and now the light on the charger is red and the button is lit up blue. When you push the fire button what color is it? White light is 100-60% charge, Blue is 60-30% and Orange is 30-0%. Also there is the on/off process of 5 clicks. If it isn't charging I would say it's a bad charger.

sounds like the centerpin is not making contact when you screw it onto the charger.

when you screw it onto the charger, when the centerpin makes contact, something should change;
like the light on the charger should change from green to red;
or the lights on both devices should blink a couple times.

I would start with Mcol's suggestion first, start with the simplest... push the button five times within 1.5 seconds and make sure it turns on. The LED on the button should flash if you have one.

After that, then I would move on to the second suggestion... check the center pin... with a tiny eyeglass flathead screwdriver... try to pry the center pin up. Start on one side, and slowly pry around all sides. Try prying it up about 1/16th of an inch... or about 2mm. Those are the two most common problems.

My old Spinner II was a PITA to charge sometimes. It does have to be turned on to take a charge, and if the battery is completely dead, turning it on is difficult. Plug it up to the charger, then press the button 5 tiems. Wait a couple of seconds. If it doesn't start charging, try again. It might take 5 - 10 tries to get it to work. Don't mess with the center pin until you are sure it's not any of the other problems listed above. That can cause more problems if you mess it up.
