I need to order a 18650 Battery for my Reo but I'm not finding anything with the same mAh as the one I have. Does it matter? I don't know what mAh is. Please explain if you don't mind. I'm lost.
the higher mah is the longer the battery will last my 14500's for my mini are 600 mah and the last about 5-6 hrs the higher the mah the more time between charges
MaH = Milli-amp hours. Basically how long the battery can last. A 1000 MaH will last twice as long between charges as a 500 MaH battery, with all other factors being the same (voltage, Atty/Carto resistance, etc.).
Thank you for your help everyone. Cathy, that's where I bought the last battery but couldn't remember until you mentioned it. Now I'll bookmark it. Thanks again.
I don't know that site so I'm not picking on it. The type batteries you get are important. The cheap (china) ones grossly exaggerate mAh. I use black label AW 18650s 2900 mAh from superTManufacturing. They're suppliers here on ECF. Might want to check out their thread. Good luck.
Like Gristle said, "mAH" means Milli-Amp Hours. If you are using a 1.85mAH atomizer at 3.7V, it will draw 2amps of power--that means a 2000mAH battery could run constantly for one hour--which is about 3,600 5-second "puffs" so it could replace about 300 cigarettes before it needs to be recharged.
