So a while back I picked up an agi tank and a ehpro ggts. I love the ggts and use it as my daily paired up with my anyvape Davide tank. I have been wrapping my own coils for about 5-6 months now and just about 2 months ago I started using organic cotton as my wick and love the performance of both my silica and cotton coils that I have wrapped( in my opinion just as good as the stock single bottom coils if not a little better). Now when it comes to wrapping coils for the agi(both the dripper and the genesis tank setup) they seem sub standard on vapor production. I need some tips and tricks to help with this tank or should I just scrap the tank and get something better like the magneto rsst or 510 Pyrex rsst. Any help welcomed.

View attachment 325653 here is the current setup I have on the tank its has been a while since I wrapped that coil so can't remember if it was .2 or .25 mm kanthan wire but it is wrapped around 3 ml silica wick( havnt tried cotton yet) that coil is reading 2.6 ohm so i guess the 32guage but I have thrown lower ohm coils (1.3 and 1.6 if i remember correctly) on there and they preform the same

Couple things:
1) the standard airflow on the agi is pathetic, regardless of what your doing on it you will need to drill out the airholes. 5/64th will do fine for 1+ ohms, for anything under 0.5 your going to want 1/8th.

2) while most people seem to use ss mesh, cotton is far better for flavor and vapor. It is harder to use though.

3) instead of wicking down into the juice reservoir, try an auto-dripper. Instead of vertical coils, wrap them horizontally over the wick holes. Then pull cotton through the coils and tuck it under them. Make sure to get a fair bit of cotton underneath, add more if need be, it needs to completely covert the wick holes. Then gently push your coils down onto the cotton cloud. In this mode you will have to tip the tank for every drag, or every other drag. It is far more effective though.
