Help with coils

0.8ohm is at 20 watts.

Problem is whenever I try to take a hit basically no vapor comes out.

No vapor at all? 20 watts on 0.8 ohm coil should get you a noticeable amount of vapor unless the coil is made of thick wire then it may take a couple few seconds for the coil to heat up, so in that time you may not notice any vapor.

If no vapor at all, like even after 5 seconds of holding the fire button, and you see no other evidence that the coil is getting power, then it sounds like a bad connection or a bad coil therefore no power to coil and no vapor.

    Just for good luck, do a few "primer puffs" (draw air but don't hit the fire button)
    This brings up a good point of discussion; what is a “primer puff”?

    I always considered it when one takes a short puff while holding the button to heat the coil for a more saturated draw on the second puff.

    But after reading your reply, I can see it also meaning what you describe.
