Help with diy e liquid

A friend of mine gave me some stuff so I can make my own e liquid. He had 125 ml of 12 mg/ml nicotine solution 100% VG and combined it with 125 ml of 100% PG. Can I use it like this and what will the ratio be, 50/50 with 12 mg of nicotine???

From what your saying, the PG / VG and nic have already been mixed together, so at the the moment you have a 50/50 with nic.

Next is too add some flavour concentrate, here's where its going to get tricky, the concentrate will either be PG based of VG based, it'll be your choice when you buy it, but when you mix it you will no longer be 50/50, you may also have to leave it to steep for a while depending on which flavours you choose, fruity flavours are ok to use straight away with a good shake, milky flavours, like custard etc need to be put away for a week to steep.

125 ml of VG & nic (12mg) + 125 ml of PG (zero Nic) = 250 ml of 50/50 6mg

OK, lets go over this slowly.
" 125 ml of 12 mg/ml nicotine solution 100% VG " So you mean 125ml of 12mg nicotine ( 12mg Vg Base )
" combined it with 125 ml of 100% PG " Now if combined with 125ml of 100%Pg
((( You now have 250ml. of 50/50 Pg/Vg at 6mg ( of Nicotine per ml. )))
Now ADD your flavors ( if you want flavor that is )
Bottom line ,,,,, You have 250ml. 50/50 6mg.

And the nic level and the VG level will go down by the amount of flavoring you add

Thanks for all the help. I understand it now. Still have to do a little more research for mixing my own but I'm getting there
