Your evic will run as a true pass through even with no battery installed. If it will not power on with it plugged in and no battery installed, then the battery is not the problem.
I have accidentally installed a battery upside down in my evic. I would not do anything. Turned the battery over and it powered right up, so the internal protection worked in my case.
Evic takes a flat battery, no button. I would replace the battery and take it from there. I am betting your battery is shorted. You can't tell anything until you know your battery is good. Just buy a battery.
I have several batteries, and a charger, and I highly recommend you go that way as well. Batteries do not last forever anyway and regular vaping takes a toll on them. My evic has taken a real licking and although I probably would not buy one again (I'd like a Provari next time), I expect it to give good service and remain a useful device.
Hi, I was just wondering...I was thinking about getting an evic, but is it worth getting? I've heard that the variable wattage setting is pretty cool because it'll adjust at the setting where you get the best Vape, but I don't know if that's true or not?
Hiiiii, personally I haven't tried any other APV's but I loved my evic when it did work. And yes you can adjust the voltage and wattage. It really is a unique device in some ways.
