New to vaping, bought a Halo Triton starter kit about 3 weeks ago, and am enjoying it very much. But I have a problem with the equipment. I bought the menthol sample pack and have been trying the flavors. Last week, both of my Tritons started giving reduced vapor, so I thought it was worn out coils. I order a 5-pack of coils, and replaced them in both of my Triton tanks. One started working perfectly right away, but the other one still doesn't work at all. I've swapped batteries and coils, and the problem seems to be the tank. Do the tanks themselves go bad? If I take the coils and battery off of the one that is working properly, and put them on the malfunctioning tank, it is still bad. Please help if you have any experience with this.

Also, what is the proper way to clean the Triton equipment? I've just been rinsing them out with water and letting them dry.

Thanks,

These are basically T2 tanks. If a new coil didn't help, follow the advice to check and clean the connections.

I carry spare T2 tanks in my pocket while at work. One night last week, I change to the spare and it just wasn't hitting... next to nothing. Spent most of my break picking a piece of lint out of the bottom connection ;) Afterwards, it vaped like it should.

What resistance coils are you using, BTW? Regular Triton Battery or the VV?

Ordered some new tanks, and a new tank cured my problem. Tossed the old one, after cleaning and switching coils, etc. They're not that expensive, and now I have a spare. That's the only problem I've had with my Triton after a few months using them.

No I just got 2 new tanks and having the same problem

i just ordered a halo triton. now im a bit nervous about the product now that ive read this. it appears to be an excellent product though.

Don't worry there are always going to be "some" problems no matter what product you buy sometimes it can just be due to quality control other times a simple fix is readily available :)
