Good evening all, lately I have my mind set on a sub-ohm tank. Which brings me to the Herakles tank. Does anybody have bought it lately or has had it in the past? Currently its packing a 0.6 and 0.2 ohm coils when you buy the tank. which i had found out its a new update they awarded 2 coils to try each ohm. Anyway, I really can't decide what to do as far as getting the istick50 watt, or finding something better for that price. I was looking at the website "vapenw" Has anybody bought from there? The istick i can get it for $40 and the tank about $30. Which i dont mind since my current set up is the tsunami v power and only payed $40 several months ago. I am rocking 80vg/20pg with my current set up @ 3.8volts. (blue middle setting)
Reason I am asking for help is because I need some guidance on what I should do. I don't want to spend crazy amounts of money. but I am willing to look at other options that will suit my needs. Also I don't want to mess with RDAs and what not. just sub-ohm tanks :)
Does anybody have the istick50 watt with the Herakles?
Thank you and vape on :)

Not sure how much this helps, it's just my personal experience and preference:

I have the original Herakles with .5 ohm coils and put it on a IPV mini 2 or Sigelei 100W Plus. While I really like the tank, I don't hit it for a long run, maybe for 2 to 3 hours a day and skip a day here and there. I usually run a max vg juice in it and use the Sig mod (dual 18650 batteries) at 65 - 70 watts. That goes through the juice and batteries pretty fast, so have it handy when I really want the power, flavor, and clouds. I have 3 Atlantis tanks, a Kanger ST, and a Kanger ST mini, any of which I enjoy hitting all day long. So JMHO, get something that works well all day long and the Herakles when you want a higher vaping gear.

Then again, you may like it all day, every day. But would advise a mod up to at least 70 watts and back-up batteries.

I have a Herakles and iSrick 50 and I run mine at 40 watts and I LOVE IT!!! I haven't used my RDA's since. I like the .6 ohm coil.
I also run it on my IPV MINI 2. I like the max air flow and I use max VG. Have mine loaded with max VG Castle Long by Five Pawns. Clouds of heaven. IMHO

I can't in good conscience recommend the iStick 50 watt until Eleaf or iSmoka admits to and has come up with an explanation/fix for the autofiring and other issues with this model.

istick 50 watt exploded
Thank you. I don't want to deal with such issues. Thanks man.
What about the smok m80 xpro plus??

It hasten exploded but it seems to be hit and miss with the weather it will work for very long or not. I think your next choice up at that price range is the IPV 4 has dual batteries 100 W temp protection havent herd any bad from it other than some people don't like the mirrored screen protector and they take it apart and buff the mirror away.

Thank you. The ipv4 was a nice option. But with my current budget, I'll settle with the M80. But my future investment will be a segeili 150 watt.

I haven't read it yet but there is a thread reporting more yet another 80 with problems. If you are that tight if hate to see you get a mod and have to do with out

I also have a auto firing Istick. I also have the M80 and Herakles and love them both. But as soon as I can afford to I'm buying something like the Ipv 4 or something comparable with external batteries. In the meantime I'm loving this M80

I am glad I didn't get the istick.

Which coils do you rock in the Herakles? How's the battery life? What vg/pg do you run in the tank?
How long does it take to charge your M80?

I switch back and forth between the coils but right now I'm running a .2 with max Vg. I Vape all day and usually put it on charge at 10 or 11 pm and it is still at 50 percent or close to it. I think it's better to recharge then than wait till it dies. I also run Cuttwood and Classified and other premium juices in it but I'm not sure of their ratios . I've got Atlantis 1 and 2 , Arctic, Kanger Subtank and Herakles but Herakles is the tank I always wind up using.

Thanks man for your insight.
Dang you have quite a few selections of tanks.
With Max vg, have you had any dry hits?

I've never had a dry hit with the Herakles. On a new coil I prime it like usual then I let it sit like 5 minutes and vape at about 43 watts a little while to break it in but they are my favorite factory coils and break in faster than any of my others
