Greetings!
Can someone recommend a good set up for a provari with a smallish type tank / cart / clearo? I am currently using an ego c, it is ok, but sounds like the provari would be beneficial for my smoking / vaping type....but the website does not make it clear what goes with the provari? Your recommendations will be very appreciated. A good vendor too.

I was going to post this exact same questions. I'm looking to buy a Provari mini (w/ extended cap). I'd like to know what tank based systems/attys work best with it at higher voltages, and what those voltages are.

Does the mini vivi nova fit on the provari or do i need an adapter?

If you're going with a provari and want to keep it simple, I wouldn't get the mini nova. Go with the full size. I have both and haven't had as much luck with my mini but I love the full size. Just make sure you get a genuine Vision ViVi Nova as there are A LOT of vendors selling knockoffs out there. Have you tried a carto tank? Some folks still like those a lot too.

Also, if you like to tinker you may want to look at a "true" rebuildable like an AGA-T.

And no, you wouldn't need any adapter for a nova tank (mini or full size). You'd only need an adapter for eGo threaded devices like the eGo clearomizers that do not have a native 510 connector.

Remember, higher voltages require higher resistance otherwise you'll blow your coils.

Good luck!

Where do we get an adapter for eGo threaded devices?

I have a Provari and use cartotanks exclusively. I own approximately 20 tanks from several manufacturers, and my favorite tanks thus far are the IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!. I currently have seven of those, each with their own flavor of juice. These are a high quality, rugged, and inexpensive pyrex glass cartotank with prices that start at under $20.

I did a review of these tanks in the following link. I included pics of my own IBTanked's on my Provari. These tanks have become quite popular here on ECF, and many customers uploaded pics of their own tanks in response to my review:

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/349222-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks.html

To avoid confusion, there are two diameters offered at the website. A slimmer 19mm and a wider 25mm tank. (I use the 19mm XL). Both of those two diameters are also available in two lengths, standard (for a 35mm carto) and an XL (for a 45mm carto).

Acrylic and stainless steel endcaps are offered for the 19mm tanks. Only stainless caps are offered for the 25mm tank. Pre-punched and unpunched cartos are sold on the website in both lengths needed, as well as drip tips, a tank accessory tool, and a carto punch tool.

Both the tubes and stainless caps are available in a wide selection of special painted finishes, or the plain natural finishes. The acrylic caps for the slimmer tubes also come in a wide selection of colors and patterns.

Stainless steel caps and pyrex glass are the best medium of materials to use with cinnamon or citris flavors that can crack or melt the polycarbonate plastic of the cheaper tanks sold by other manufacturers. And because these materials are inert, they carry no "plastic taste" over to the flavor in the juice being vaped.

For the Provari just order the Provari you would like and get the charger and batteries from orbtronics or RTD vaper. Th cap that comes with your Provari lest it take 18490 batteries or you can pay extra for the 18650 extension cap. I recommend getting the 18650 extension cap because you will get a lot longer battery time with it. If you want to keep the size down just use the 18490 cap. I can send you some links to the batteries and charger if you need me to. I am leaving to take my kids to the DR but will check back when I get home. Also If you post that you need links someone else will be able to help you while I am gone.

Zen type systems are for advanced users. They are fantastic in the right hands, but if a person doesn't know what they are doing they can be a total disaster. Do a lot of reading, and watch a lot of videos before you attempt one.

That's why we have you ECF Veterans! Teach us n00bs how to use it. I am willing to learn. :D

Go to the electronicstix.com sub forum in the vendors section. That's where the Zen folks seem to hang out. ENS is the distributer for Zen with the exception of the Zatty that Mike makes to fit the Provari.
