Hi guys. Im having problems with my evod. Yesturday i put a Domestic flavor PG from jhonson creek juice and my evod start to gurgling and instead of vaping i was drinking hot juice, sound like i have some cherryboom an firecracker liquid inside ijijijijij is new i replac the head with a spare one i ordered and after a couple of drag start doing the same, im using on a twist no matter if i drop down the setup to the lower voltage still doing it.

Any help, are they are so bad? I have another one ordered and now i dont want it

Hopefully, you've read all of the posts about making sure your head is tightly screwed in. You should check this at least once every other refill.

Another thing I've read is that these devices is that they don't do well with "thin", high percentage PG liquids.

My EVOD does OK with a 60/40 liquid.

Yes i think my problem is the 100% PG liquid i was trying, i give another try with my horrible caffe expresso flavor VG based and is a good vaping with that liquid.

Thanks for reply

For what it's worth, my EVODs are issue free from full to dry with 80pg/20vg juice.

I find that the higher voltage prevents the floods. If you get that Voltage up, it will stop. Now that it is flooded, put it upside down so the tip sticks into a sponge for five minutes and let it drain out. Then swab it with a Q-Tip. Crank up your voltage and let it rip. You should be good to go once you get it dialed in.

Glad I found this thread. Same issue as the OP. First reply said the head may be loose. I unscrewed it and sure enough the head was loose. Im vaping what is supposedly 100% PG. Its been fine ever since, only about 15 minutes now but the problem seems solved for me :)

My first EVOD most have some issue, my first head was doing great on 100vg but in pg was unusable, i just replaced the head after a week of use and notice the original head have only one wick and not 2, i put a new head and is gurgling now and them but i can now use a 100%PG with no flooding, my second EVOD is doing exellent on VG and PG so the first one may have some issues, both from diferent sellers.

I love how those EVOD vape, even more than my vivi mini nova,, since the protanks is more or less a big EVOD i ordered one to try it out, i have read that is too airy but i have a bunch of evod heads that can try on the protank, oh an my protank is caming with a little partner, my new Vamo V2/3 Stainless Steel

I've gotten my 4 evods from the vendor listed in the threads above and I have the same non-engraved ones as well. I've had them since the end of March and so far, NO ISSUES.. I use all of them with different pg/vg ratios and I rotate them each everyday, all day. I don't care that they don't have the engraving on them.. they were a good price and no fuss.. no complaints here! :D

Not happy right now...Thankfully this fake EVOD has been trouble-free...However, I did get a genuine eGo-branded C upgrade, but the bottom cap was replaced with their logo. Time to email them and see what the deal is. Anyone else dealt with this vendor?

Hoe do you know is a real joytech? My twist do have the CE and trashcan engraves on the side of the button, but the twisting cap have mvp logo, i did checkmon joytech website and they say very clear all of their product have the joytech logo

Engraved or not, they should be fine. I mean real or knockoff.

I have 4 Evods, love all 4! I had the same issue as you with it leaking and sucking up hot juice instead of vaping!

Make sure the Atty is screwed in all the way to the base, but also take a look at your wicks!!

I found the problem with mine was in the wick, when I compared it to another, there was hardly any there and juice was just flowing in. I popped the top off the atty to find the coil and rest of the wick had been pushed down inside. I used a small needle to pull it back up in place and straighten it out with the wick properly placed. Not one issue since!
