Help with my first Provari please...

I agree I love my Provari. Buy what you want and if you get bored then buy a wrap for. Mine is a steel which I like because I am not a shiny mod person.
I like my zombie, but you should know this: the red spatter is only on one side. You might not care, but it drives me crazy. The red glass aerotank really reads pink, so that is not a solution as a topper. I ended up buying a deep red tip to "pull the look together" for now. I plan on finishing the blood spatter, and getting a custom topper made. The white is actually really versatile if looks are what you are after. 
I only have one, for now. And I went with the satin silver, I've since polished it all up and it almost looks like the chrome finished one now.
It was my first real mod that I'll want to take to places like work, out to dinner, parties, and day to day life. So I was really wanting something with a more "professional," look; since I'll be working as an electrical engineer around a bunch of squares and suits.
When I get a second one, I'll probably go with a zenkote, maybe the gunmetal. The silver looks good with just about anything though. And I've seen the white dressed up with a brass kir fanis ring and base with a white kfl- that was a sweet classy looking rig.
In the end you'll want something that you are comfortable with though, keep in mind it'll be with you 24/7, so when it comes to appearance you'll want something that'll go with you.

Funny that you say that... because I put white one in the shopping cart and before I clicked "submit" I already regretted it so I deleted it and added the Zombie. I figure I can keep my eye out for a white one in the classifieds because if someone bought a zombie one there was a reason for it (collection, etc) and not likely to sell it on classifieds. Just my dumb reasoning. Or I will just buy a white one new if all else fails.
Little late to the party, but I would advise against getting any finish other than a Zenkote or satin silver. The traditional ceramic finishes are too weak for the long haul IMO.
Get whatever your personality and likes dictate. Only you can decide that. If those two things change often, save a little money and buy a satin silver and get some different wraps.
I've seen photos of some 2-3 years old, and they look fine..
The only really worn ones I've seen are either of those who work in construction or something, the discontinued chrome ones, or of those who intentionally destroyed the finish to obtain a certain look...
I also saw a couple recently which were prematurely worn from sliding them out of some sort of leather sleeves.. Why that happened in those particular cases, I don't know.. Historically ProVarii have done fine in those sleeves...
My first-born satin black is coming up on 6 months.. I wish it would hurry up & start getting that worn distressed look..
