Hey guys, im new here, i basically have came here because a e-cig i bought from china broke.

So what was wrong with the ecig? It was fine until the ecig stopped charging/firing so what i first did was play with the center pin and no luck so i then decided to open it up and well that was a ..... and a half, it turns out one of the wires broke free from the solder. So in attempt to re-weld the wire back on we ended up basically crushing the part of the ecig which receives pressure from the button.

So what do i want to do now? Well i still want to fix it. I had a look at a few puck mods and they look fairly simple.

So if its possible would some one be able to lead me in a direction of how to buy the supplies needed etc, cheers!!!

If i can buy an exact replica of that chip shown in the pictures that would be amazing!

Best advice is quality gear. If one has proper understanding of batts and safety, mechs are sweet, cause there's nothing to fry,... umm cept the user and batt, hence the disclaimer :D but yeah, something to be said about no circuits that could blow smoke out the port.:D

Personally have a collection of both mechs and high amp regulated mods. Enjoy them both. Kind of funny really, I build at around 0.4 ohms, that way can get a great vape on all my mod collection. Using a mech will get me into the mellow 40's, throw it on Max at 5.5 volts am doing 75:D 6 will get ya 90.

Well, if you're good with a soldering iron, the wires are easy to reconnect. But replacing that button is going to be tricky. Do you have any electrical engineering geek friends?

Yea im fine with soldering etc but the button is the issue, the best possibility is that there is a site were i can buy that exact chip else i could probably buy few different components and wire them together.
