Hi Pamawoman. I don't have a clue what an eGo auto is. (little 650 mah ego battery?) The Nautilus should work good with the VV, but the little 650 mah are only 3.7 volts so they are practically under powered for the Nautilus. The little 650 mah ego's are decent with tanks of coils in the 2.2 and higher range. To make the Nautilus really shine you'll need something like the iStick 30 watt (i know you like lanyards and it won't work on one but they do make holsters and a leather pouch for it). You might consider getting a 30W for at home then use the VV when you're out and about.

eLeaf iStick Leather Case w/Lanyard Fits 20-30W - BLACK [gv-eLeafiStickLeatherCase-BLACK] - $4.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Good luck.

I just got my big nautilus and it works with my button egos but not my autos. This is really a bummer. If I get a bigger ego auto will that work. I only have 2 650 autos and one with VV. The aspire 1 also will not work with these batteries. so will a bigger ego work or am I going to cry? LOL
Automatics are triggered by airflow. In order for it to work, the tank needs to get the air from the holes on the sides of the 510 connection threads, Nautilus does not have these holes.

To get a better visual, compare the Nautilus 510 to another tank you have used on the Automatic.:D

This image--- might help to explain air hole placement--there is a small airhole on side of 510 connection and on the Nautilus the air comes in from the side.

In the part called -----"Coil Basis"----- below the hole is at bottom of 510 connection and this is where auto batteries get the air to work.

The Nutilus bypasses the 510 connection and air comes directly to coil from the side.

auto batteries need this hole as in this image---------->
