The new Vamo came today and love it. I already had a Protank and a T3S I had been using for months. The Protank and the T3S work great on the V5 but the G50 will only work for a few hits and then it starts getting an awful burnt taste. I can rebuild the atomizers and they will work fine in the Protank and T3s but the G50 has "killed" three of them so far. The G50 seems that it is not getting enough juice to keep the wick wet. Anyone had a similar problem with the G50?

Do you think the inner air tube is a bit too long forcing the rubber piece to close off the wick openings too much? Also, does leaving the rubber piece off cause any leaking into the tip?
FYI, I just found another post about turning the rubber piece upside down when installing. I tried that and seems to work with no leaking (yet).

I have a vamo v5 also and I just tried a g50 on it. Exact same thing happened to me. Taste is so burnt. I made sure it's on rms and removed the rubber piece. Still tastes gross. I'm gonna try a pro tank and see if it fixes it. Glad to know I'm not the only one this happened to!

I was at 4.3v with a 2.4 ohm coil. And I tried 3.7 with a 1.8 ohm coil after I burnt out the 2.4.
