Wake up in the morning nic craving is minimal! Coffee breakfast, vape my tobacco juice. No issues.
All day vapeing no issues at all.

Dinner time!

Nic cravings are, out of this world. Anxious, anger, desperation, tunnel vision! Yes my vision gets weird! Panicky!
Things I have tried with NO results
Heavy vaping all day
No tobbaco during the day
Light vaping all day
vaping reduced nic, 18mg during the day
High nic all day
Pre dinner heavy vaping, tobbaco and flavoured juices., heavy vaping after dinner
Pre dinner no vaping, after dinner heavy
After dinner heavy, and no vaping with my coffee.

It is getting worse everyday.
It last for 2 hours or more!
Last night, I almost got in my car too get smokes, I had the keys in my hand!

It is only after dinner, it is getting worse AND its lasting longer PLUS its physical.
I am at my wits end here.
Do I need to see a doctor?
Has anyone experienced this, and cured it?
I will not smoke! But dinner time is hell for me and all those around me. I have turned to going to my office closing the door and suffering in silence!
Its just like I have quit cold turkey

Any ideas?
Thanks

Kaiser,

I honestly doubt that visiting a doctor will help you, as many have no experience with Vaping and Vapers at all, in general (no training). Many of them don't know anything about e-cigs at all, and would tell you that you need to get off of cigarettes and e-cigs, too, because you simply need to get off of nicotine.

I hate offering questions in here rather than definite answers, but that's all I have to offer, so it may not be of much help, but . . .

Do you eat different things at dinnertime than at other times during the day?
Do you eat more at dinnertime? Your digestion may be kicking in and altering your metabolism. Maybe that could be effecting you.
Do you only eat dinner, and skip other meals during the day? (except for maybe breakfast and coffee)

Something to consider:
Some people have issues with PG, and much fewer have issues with VG. Even less have issues with Ethyl Alcohol (used as the dilution base in some flavorings) and some have issues with certain flavorings (like the active ingredient in cinnamon: cinnamaldehyde). Vaping these things can cause mild to violent reactions in some people. Maybe you could try a PG-only juice, and a VG-only juice, to see if one of them might help. For the VG-only juice, you should know this... To get a PG-free e-liquid, the flavorings in it have to be PG-free as well. The majority of flavorings are in a PG-base, because they dissolve better in PG. Some flavorings dissolve better in Ethyl Alcohol. Oils like Citrus and Cinnamon dissolve better in Ethyl Alcohol. FYI: Ethyl Alcohol is the same things as Ethanol and Pure Grain Alcohol (PGA)... three names for the same thing.

The Flavor Apprentice's Cinnamon Red Hots is PG-free, and is in Ethyl Alcohol, so you could make a 100% PG-free juice with something like that (ingredients in ethyl alcohol), if you are into DIY. Otherwise, you'd have to search for e-liquids that are actually PG-free, and this can be hard to find. Some vendors and tell you, and some can't because they do not actually know. In the case of DIY Flavorings, you may have to go to the manufacturer's site to learn for yourself. Nude Nicotine makes them in e-liquids and concentrated flavorings. Virgin Vapor makes 100% VG juices that are PG-free. There are others, too.

However, it seems to me that something is changing around dinnertime. You need to spend some time with this to figure out what that is.

Do you vape a different e-liquid at dinnertime, or after?
Do you and your wife/girlfriend argue at dinnertime, or after?
Is there a family situation that upsets you at dinnertime?
Do you work out of the house, and come home to something that upsets you?
Has this always happened, or is it relatively new?

I hate to say this, but it came to me, so here goes...

According to your list of things you have tried, it may not be e-cig/e-liquid/vape related. It almost sounds like a poisoning situation, with the levels of poison stored in your blood/body building up, and the effects getting worse each time. A doctor could help with that, but poison testing could get extensive, because there are many kinds to look for. Doctors do not generally test for poisons unless asked to... they tend to look for medical problems associated with the symptoms, rather than considering poisoning as a beginning option.

Of course, I hope it is not poisoning. Hopefully, someone else has experienced your same situation, will tell you what worked for them, and will offer their advice.

I wish you the best, and Good Luck!!!

Have a cig. Seriously. There's no point in torturing yourself. It's only going to make you want them more. Who knows, you may actually hate the experience--they tend to taste bad after a long break. Plenty of people sneak a cig now and then, especially at the beginning. It's all about harm reduction. Just vape as much as you can and as often as you can.

Having said that, you may be one of those people for whom nicotine alone just doesn't do it. But there are better solutions than smoking.

1. The best--Swedish snus. It has all the goods that a tobacco smoke has but without the harm. Swedish snus is the safest and the most tested harm reduction product available. It's pure, clean and safe--and it works. I like and always recommend General mini mint white portions. Many people supplement their vaping with snus. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Use snus for the "goods" and vaping low nic for the hand-to-mouth fixation. Visit our Smokeless Tobacco subforum to talk to people who use both and are very happy.

Smokeless tobacco

2. The second best--dissolvable tobacco. I've used both Ariva and Stonewall and they are very effective and safe. Very similar to Swedish snus.

3. WTA--the new kid on the block. I'm using Aroma's WTA eliquids and I like them a lot. Aroma has a subforum here and you may want to pay them a visit and have a chat with Jerry and other WTA users. Aroma Ejuice

Locking yourself in your room with panic attacks and suffering needlessly is the worst possible option. IMHO.

Good luck and happy vaping.
