Currently having a problem with my Kylin RTA, no matter what coils I put in the ohm reading is always .06, tested on multiple readers. However those same coils put into a different RDA have the proper reading. I've tried changing the grub screws, thorough cleaning and inspecting for bits of wire from previous coils and nothing is working. I'm running out of ideas and would love some help.

It sounds like a series circuit is being completed before current is able to reach the coils. If the coils don't fire at all, this would be confirmed.

Isn't there a split insulator associated with the tank's airflow system? Could something be amiss there?

I've been eyeing the Kylin as a Christmas gift to self, but don't own one.

That sounds like the tank has a short somewhere. Doesn't matter what the coil is because something is bypassing the coil. Does it still read when there's no coil installed? Only remedy I can think of is to disassemble it completely, thoroughly inspect all insulators, and make sure there are no foreign metal objects bridging a connection where there shouldn't be one.

+1. Your Kylin probably has a short. I don't have the machine, so I can't tell you where to look, but that's what it sounds like. For a test, take the coils completely out and measure it. If it comes up .06 again, you'll know.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Most of us have not taken first year DC circuits, so you might want to have someone with a little more experience look at it for you.
Could contact:
local B&M Vape Shop (Visit) -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
