All over the place
I promise you this: When you get your ProVari, all that talk will soon go out the window and wait to come back in when you are ready. It is nice to know, but your tongue, vapor production, and the heat of your atty will tell you what you really need to know. Plus, the ProVari won't let you over do it. I got my Provari without understanding 90% of this and enjoyed it from day one. On day two, I vaped away trying to understand all the science behind it...but, I got bored, so I just continued to vape. LOL

It get's easier to understand the more you read and hear, but by no way shape or form, is all of that info necessary to have the exact same vaping experience; you just may not know why it's is so great, that's all.

OH
The ProVari is an excellent PV! I love it! One of the nice things about it is that you don't really have to worry about what you can use on it - pretty much anything works once you find the right voltage for that. But, yeah, like Kay said, I'd stick to 3 Ohm atties and cartos unlss something I wanted didn't come in that resistance.

Thanks everyone, although I hesitated since I started this thread I hit that purchase button a few hours ago.

1st it was lavatube vs provari. Then it was provari vs mini provari. Ended up going for the provari. My goal was all day vape without having to worry bout dead batteries. But ill probably get the mini at a later stage.

In the meantime im using my glv mini which I dug out of storage. If only glv made a vv pv.....

Ill post here again once I get it, and hopefully ill have good things to say. *grins*

Finally got my provari today. Takes me much longer cause I work in Kuwait. Next ill probably get the provari mini. Thanks once again for all the help. I shoulda done this a long time ago..

I had in the past purchased the following: silver bullet, apex alpha, boxmod vv, glv mini, buzzpro, ego, dragon, other crapp nit even worth mentioning.

If your not willing to commit to a provari, I can recommend the following (in order of preferance): buzzpro, ego-t

Glad you got it and you like it! I'm going to be ordering another one probably next month. I have other PV's, but they aren't 5V VV, and I've gotten SPOILED! lol! If something should happen to the one I have, I need a back-up. Now my big queary is, do I get another satin silver? A black? or a chrome? Decisions, decisions, decisions!!

I usually stay away from black and chrome. Chrome gets messy. Black if scratched will usually show a lighter color underneath (like my black silver bullet). Silver is usually perfect. But im not sure if that would apply to provaris too
